I got this as my first large landing net. I agree with a lot of the reviews on here about this net, the pole is a bit flimsy, especially when fully extended and the net arms don't seem the strongest. But at the end of the day, it's a cheaper more budget friendly product. If you want something that's built to last years and years, then you're best off going for something from a more expensive brand.I've used this net on one trip so far, caught 8 fish, most around the 10 pound mark, biggest was just above 15 pounds, and it held up well. My advice would be to get the fish in the net still in the water, then to lift the fish out holding the net vertically from the connector. Much more likely to last longer that way.All in all, it's decent for what you pay. It's big, long and doesn't break the bank. It's definitely a good place to start when getting a first carp fishing set up or just to have as a spare. It will land you some some fish, and I suppose that's the main part.

Excellent product delivered as promised

Size and overall design is great, but I'm not sure how well it would hold up to a 20+ pound carp. I may be wrong, and if I am i would certainly change this review to a 5 star if I am!
