Fit for purpose, perfect for emulating.
Perfect to use with a Wii emulator. Wii sensor bars don't actually sense anything, this is effectively just two infra-red LEDs powered by USB, so do not worry about compatibility. It'll work. I sold my Wii a while ago but kept the controllers, so I just connect this to a computer and use Dolphin Emulator and it's basically the same as playing on a real Wii (maybe even better). The cable is long, but it's also quite thin and flimsy. This helps when winding it up to stow away, though.

As expected
Brought for my son. Work's fine just as he expected it to be Only problem was driver who told amazon it was handed to residents, who were sitting next to front door and ignored our very large, very shiny, incredibly clear door number and post through next door. No one lives there it has a massive!!!! For sale board outside. Lucky it didn't get pushed all the way through and I was able to pull it back through. I guess the driver could not read door number or english to read the address on the package. Not happy

The final piece to the Emulation puzzle..
If you’re looking to get into Wii Emulation, then you’ve probably ended up here which is good because you’re in the right place! Pair this with an ORIGINAL WiiMote (third party will work but lots of examples out there of them failing after a while) and you’ll be good to go! With the sensor essentially just being an infrared ray, a third party one like this is perfectly fine for what we need it to do and saves you some pennies in comparison to an official / dolphin bar. Plugged into the back of my TV USB port and away I was playing Mario and Wii Sports like a big kid again.

Didn't do the job for me
All this does is replicate the infrared LEDs of the original WIi sensor bar. It performs no other function, and you will require a bluetooth adaptor to enable your wiimote. I had some difficulty syncing my wiimote on bluetooth (which has nothing to do with this device), but once I did the accuracy I got was poor, with the wii cursor shaking and going all over the place. I tried 2 different bluetooth adaptors, so was of the mind this was not doing the job. Went ahead and purchased the more expensive Mayflash bar which not only replicates the lights, but also includes a dedicated bluetooth reciever and a variety of modes so you can easily use your wiimote as a mouse. It cost more but you get a far superior user experience. It just works (set it on mode 4) and the accuracy and tracking is perfect, I felt it better than the Wii itself. If you want a hassle-free wiimote experience, go with the Mayflash.

As described
Haven't had a chance to fully test it as I want to use it on PC. Please note if you want to use this on your PC then make sure your PC has Bluetooth as I had to get a separate USB Bluetooth dongle as my PC didn't have Bluetooth. Works with Dolphin emulator.

Works fantastically.
The sensor bar works fantastically. It is as it says on the page, just plug it into your computer and it works without fail. The only downside is that it can be a bit innacurate and jittery if used at a close distance, but works just perfectly fine from as little as a meter away. Overall, great product, highly reccomend.

Wii like it
I bought this to use with a steamdeck with a dock, it worked really well and was detected by the wiimote the same as an original sensor bar

Good for Dolphin.
Its a bit more sensitive than the original one, but it works perfectly with dolphin emulator just plug it and run dolphin like you always do, And a quick tip step back from the sensor bar to reduce the sensitivity.

Would definitely recommend.
Bought this because I no longer have a Wii U and I wanted a sensor bar for Dolphin. I was shocked. Came in a barely taped together plastic bag. USB cable isn't that long and feels thin and fragile, but the thing works perfectly using my TV's USB port. It comes with a little plastic stand that also has some type of adhesive under it for attaching to a surface. It holds on top of my glossy TV. It seems accurate and works well with no issues from my short period of testing. Would definitely recommend.
