Useless!!
Tried on several metal finishes and surfaces without results. It actually almost made a Niquel finished steel mush worse!

Impressed the wife...
First used this at a friend’s while we were detailing my van. I used this polish on my chrome side-bars and immediately knew I had to buy some for myself!! It’s AWSOME. Easy to use and not too unpleasant a smell; it removed Road tar, tarnishing. & water marks with ease. Typed the product name into Amazon and had to check that the price was advertised correctly: Brilliant value! I ordered two tubes. Has since done an amazing job on the stainless steel sink & drainer; the wife says it looks like a new sink. (Now I can spend more time polishing the van!)

GOOD FOR LIGHTENING AREAS OF BRONZE
I'm into Art Deco and decided to buy some bronze figurines/statues. But, when they arrived they just seemed to be too dark, so after researching on the internet for pictures of the originals, made usually in ivory and bronze, I wanted to try and make them look more or a little like the originals, so thought of toning down the bronze in certain parts, like the face and hands. This product works well for that, a bit laborious and fiddly, but using a combination of old toothbrushes, rags and cotton wool buds, and patience pays off. By the way, the first 'internet search' suggested using a mixture of 'equal parts of flour, bicarbonate of soda and vinegar' to do this, and that worked too, with the similar results, but that was a little more laborious. Recommend this if that's what you are trying to do with bronze.

I bought this product for the express purposes of cleaning ...
I bought this product for the express purposes of cleaning firescale from heated metal, I thought it might be similar to a US product called Pennybrite which I cant find over here. However, although some firescale was removed, it did not work entirely sending me into the depths of the acid pickle bath I had hoped to circumnavigate. It should be noted that this product doesnt claim to clean firescale, hence I dont want to be unfair in awarding really low points, the points are awarded on the basis of it not working to clear heavy heat induced metal stains, I may try it on my cooker next, but for this purpose, it doesnt work. Thought this might be helpful for any other fellow jewellers hoping they had found Nirvana...back to the drawing board.

Scratch remover
Disappointed as didn't work on any mirror or glass surface regardless of scratch depth. Waste of money, apart from the ability to shine the surface.

Great stuff.
Worked really well for polishing guitar frets after leveling. Good consistency, not too strong an odour and polished up really nice with a great shine. Leaves some residue but is easily cleaned and buffed off.

Pâte a poêle

Great Product
I used this to clean up the case of an old watch. Easy to use and did a great job. Watch looks great and it was very easy to use. No hash smell either.

Many houses of worship recommend this!
I used to use Birks silver polish but they stopped selling it. This stuff is a great substitute. Maybe even better than Hagarty’s. Very handy that this can be used on silver, brass and copper!! Works “The Best” on brass and copper (for longevity of shine) but also brings silver to a glorious polish. Be sure to follow instructions!!! Use sparingly and work on small areas at a time…apply & then polish off. If you allow it to dry you’ll have trouble polishing to a shine so you’ll have to add moisture to kinda start again - hence working on small areas at a time. Great for using if you are not near a sink or water source (such as in a religious house of worship) because this requires no washing nor rinsing. In fact, washing or rinsing after polishing will remove the protective tarnish-resistant coating! Our copper is still shining after 4 months whereas some of our silver is already tarnishing badly. However, that is normal in our climate and with our silver - for some reason a bunch of it tarnishes more quickly than another bunch of it? This is a bit smelly but does not bother my asthma (even in a room where five of us were polishing) like silvo or brasso does (don’t use silvo/brasso - its too tough on precious items!). Enjoy this, it’s well worth a try.

Funziona
Ho preso per una lavatoio vecchio in ceramica; pieno con graffi di metallo. Con sola una straccia non ha funzionante. Ho usata con una macchina per lucidatura e così ha funzionato. Anche ho pulito una maniglia in ottone. Consiglio.
