JML GoChef 8-in-1 Non-Stick Multi-Functional Cooker with FREE Recipe Book & 5L Bowl

I had a Pro-Chef before that was like a bread maker to use - timers, different programmes to set and a hinged lid. Although it was quite good I also found it hard to keep the lid clean and cleaning in general. With the Go Chef 8 the lid is easy to clean although I clean it from the sides as I found water leaked into the centre so I don't dip the whole lid in water. It is very easy to clean the lid. The body is easily wiped down and food doesn't drop on the sides so a quick wipe is all thats needed. The cooking part is brilliant and with it being wide it is easy to stir fry etc. Any marks are easily cleaned off with a bit of bi-carb and a damp cloth. You can change the temperature settings at any time like on the cooker. I cook pasta meals all in one pot - brilliant. I cook egg and bacon, fried bread etc - if you add the egg at the last moment and put the lid back on you have a perfect fried egg and the steam has cooked the top. I cook stews, potatoes and veg can then be added to the rack on top. I also add dumplings to stews for the last 20 minutes for perfect dumplings. I heaven't tried cooking a joint on the lower rack but as I have a halagen oven I prefer to cook joints in that. I can now report that I find the Go-Chef perfect for our needs and in fact I closed down the top of my oven and only use the go-chef. I even boil potatoes and veg in it. As I love love trying gadgets, I have loved my new toy.

Re: 3184691 Product Not Fit For Purpose: JML 8 IN 1 COOKER The only reason why am writing this review is to warn anyone not to buy this product cause the pro advert is misleading and in my own case am left frustrated with a product i will NEVER use again. I bought this product after i saw the TV advert, initially when i place the order it took eternity for me to get the product .Eventually i received my order only for my nightmare to began, the first time i used the i was disappointed even after following the manual instructions, the whole food was thrown in the bin then i tried to roast in the roasting pan and again following the manual instruction diligently the non sticky surface was totally misleading information to sell this product .Still does not want to give up on this product i tried to STEAM RICE....... but to my anger the non-stick pan was a joke! The general main purpose at the time of purchasing this product has not been met and am not satisfy with the end result even though i followed the instruction to the later. I called RYMAN STATIONERY, which is the seller i bought this product from in Amazon, i tried to explain that i will be returning this product back because of the stated reason and there response by email when the phone line went off was that because if the product has been used, they can’t accept the product back and my argument is that am entitled to a reasonable opportunity to examine the goods which should take place within a reasonable time of me buying this product. I have decided to hear my view on social media so no other person will have to go through this same ordeal as i believe that my statutory right has been taken away from me and i am left a product i don’t want. All i want is my refund as am not satisfy with this product.

Bought this as replacement for gochef I had for 10 years. It was used almost daily and I found it to be invaluable for many uses. When it died, I replaced it right away . Great piece of kit!

My goodness, it can do almost anything. I'm still trying to work out if it can cure cancer and fill the dishwasher on it's own. It does roasts, soups, and sauces, it fries, steams and bakes. I've made gorgeous bolognese sauces, meatballs in pomodoro sauce, roasted a chicken, done a full fry up, made delicious chicken stock, accidentally left a stew on all night without it being a dried up mush in the morning and steamed quite tasty veggies (only once, in a half-hearted attempt to be healthy). It is very easy to clean - I leave the removable "pot" full of boiling water to soak, come back 15 minutes later, clean it with a sponge and soapy water (no scrubbing required!) and voila, good as new. The smart plastic "shell" is also easy to clean with no fiddly buttons to try and clean round. If I had one small criticism, it would be that the timer only lasts 2 hours. It's not that big a deal; I just either put it on very low overnight and set an alarm on my phone to remind me to turn it off or use a plug in timer. Every household should have one of these - you literally cannot go wrong with it. It's a "one hit wonder", meaning you throw everything in in one hit, leave it to do it's thing and come back to a delicious stew, rich bolognese sauce, perfectly done meatballs or a crispy fry up. Om nom nom. JML have absolutely got it right!

I brought mine through Amazon at a really good price of 39.99, I took a chance as I had read reviews of this product having to be returned as it failed to work after only having been used for a few months, unfortunately this happened with mine, it stopped working totally, as I had found it to be quite good , I decided to take the option of a replacement product, this has now stopped working totally after just less than three months. If JML sorted out why this product has so many 'fails' and rectified them, I would recomend it. You can cook raw meat, including a whole chicken, bacon, sausages etc on the lower rack without using oil, it will also heat up anything, including ready cooked pies and casseroles. this product does not brown things though, (you could brown chicken portions, fish etc in the base) , food might not look as appetising, and would not look good for things such as Lasagne unless you put it under a grill afterwards. It heats from the outside in, I couldn't get a baked (jacket) potato to turn out right using this. Its worth mentioning you can't use it for products that need to rise such as cakes or bread. but using water in the bottom you can make steamed puddings and cakes, I made a successful bread pudding which turned out well. This is one of the best most used kitchen gadgets that I have ever bought. It's large capacity is brilliant....when I cook I make enough for 2-3 nights ( just 2 of us now) . Ideal for a busy full time working person! The hotplate under the pan is so fast in heating up....almost immediately. You can fry, boil, simmer or slow cook....brilliant. I have made beautiful casseroles, chilli con carne,all in one pasta dishes, curries and also loads of jam am chutneys due to the glut of plums, damsons, apples and courgettes this summer... I find it so easy and fast and with its timer of 2 hours ideal for slow cooking also. I feel it is safe to leave on due to the timer control . The lid keeps all the moisture in the food, when you slow cook or simmer.... The pan is easily removable and so easy to wash, non-stick...obviously be careful not to mark it ...always use wooden or plastic spoons and spatulas. Not used it for deep frying yet...we try to avoid deep fry in our house, but I would imagine it is brilliant due to the fast heating up and temperature control, and capacity...I have steamed veg....cauliflower and broccoli on the rack above a casserole dish, and was lovely . Well worth the money you will use it a lot......

Genau was ich suchte, ich kann das Gerät nutzen wenn ich für mich alleine koche, oder als Zusatz wenn alles kinder mal wieder zum essen kommen,genau was ich geschrieben habe.
