Solid and sturdy

Great swing but the wood needs treating before use. You need to use an outside varnish on all the wood.The description says:'Pressure Treated Timber' and 'NOTE: This item is constructed of natural wood and it may split or crack over time, this does not affect the structure or strength of the item.'NOT TRUE. Within one year the wood was splitting 2 to 3 cm into the centre and the whole swing was covered in green mould. Another year or two and the timber pieces would have had to be thrown away. You need to varnish the wood first. I have now varnished the whole thing after spending many hours filling all the large cracks. So hopefully it will last a few more years but the cracks will get bigger especially if it freezes. At least now it is no longer covered in green mould.Very disappointing that such a lovely & expensive swing is ruined because they do not varnish the wood or tell you that YOU NEED TO VARNISH ALL THE WOOD pieces.A good buy, lovely swing, looks great in the garden but NEEDS VARNISHING BEFORE USE.Rated as a 1 so that people read this. I would rate the whole swing as a 4 to 5 after varnishing !!When new it will be quick to varnish and save you an awful lot of hassle a year to two later, when it is cracking through to the centre of the wood and covered in mould.

Easy to assemble, should last for years

Received all three deliveries and got all the wood painted in Ronseal 10 Year Woodstain Teak 750ml to protect hopefully long term.Putting the swing together is pretty easy enough even without power tools but will be faster and easier with them. You can manage with a 13mm spanner/ratchet and a screwdriver if it is all you have.Once setup i would advise to get some type of ground anchors to stop the swing legs from tipping either way.Overall i would say it is worth it for the price as long as you protect it early on it should last a very long time.

We took our time and put it together within a few hours. Only two of us needed to put structure together at end but husband assembled mainly on own.It is so sturdy and looks great. We also bought the Rebo pegs.Our three daughters love it! I think we will treat the wood as someone else has mentioned.

Every piece of wood supplied was poor quality and full of splits, sometimes to the middle of the log, rendering it unusable. REBO are very difficult to get hold of and so far am not getting anywhere getting a replacement or refund. I would not recommend anyone buys anything from this company based on my experience so far.

I bought this swing for my 2 year old Granddaughter, she loves it... the only thing is the seat, she is to young for the seat provided, so had to purchase a toddler seat, which was easy to assemble. Other than that great sturdy product!

I installed this in our back garden. My 3-year-old child loved it but 11 years old did not love it much. We do not have to go to the playground every day anymore. There are some cracks in the wood and they are getting bigger over time. It is already treated but I also painted all the wooden parts. All in all, it is worth the money.
