Great elementary school joke book
These jokes are perfect for the elementary school crowd. They are short, easy to read, have fun pictures, and are appropriately cheesy. My 1st grader son loves to receive and share them with his friends at lunch. Its an easy way to go a little extra mile and give him something special to show him I love him every day. My only wish is that the book contained 180 jokes, same as the number of school days. There are unfortunately less.

cute and funny
I like these notes. Ive bought several different kinds, and I like that you fold them (like a card). Joke on the front, then they open it, and the answer to the joke/riddle is inside. Also gives me a blank side, to write my own little sweet note. The jokes are perfect (my daughter is in 1st grade) and she finds them funny.

Provides chuckles, and promotes reading at the same time.
When our little one started to read, we procured these as a motivational tool during lunches to "read" more. The truth is though, his friends probably had more chuckles then he did initially, as it's more fun to hear jokes then to read them outloud and try to process them; but it did get him to read/pick up a few new words here and there. I read the jokes as I pack them and the jokes are simple and do create some chuckles! They would be too simple for kids older than 8.

Perfect for lunchboxes!
These are very cute, kid appropriate jokes, I love that they fold in half and you can write a little note on the other side! My first grade will love them!

I was not sure about this purchase but it turned out to be worth the money.
My son has had these all year. I put one in his lunch every day. When I forgot to do so he would remind me the next day. He was in first grade and they were appropriately goofy. It was something all the kids around him looked forward to during lunch. The school counselor took an interest and collected them from him.

they are a little too easy for him
i got these for my 9 yr old son in 4th grade...they are a little too easy for him, some of his classmates were making fun of him and they called them "baby jokes" Guess they are in the age of trying to be cool and older. But I just told him they are just jealous. I would say these are great for younger minded kids maybe 1st-3rd grade? But my son does enjoy some of them, as I continue to put them in his lunch

Cute but...
This was super cute and fun at first. The more we use them the more I realize there are a lot of jokes my kids wouldn't get. It's taking longer in the morning to go through and find one. I would say about half the book is all we'll be able to use

Fun For My Son, Handy For Me
These are tear-out pges that fold in half with the joke on the outside and the punchline inside. There is room for a short note as well. My 7-year-old son said "the jokes are the greatest part of my lunch."
