Hi The BS3871 type 2 circuit breaker has been discontinued and replaced with the BS60898 Type B, which this item is. The answer to whether it will fit the distribution board is difficult and will depend on the bus bar arrangement within. Not to hold against me but I would say it is likely to fit.
