I have only just received these scales, so can't comment on how well they last (will update if it proves they are unreliable or develop a fault etc.) However, I am incredibly pleased with them from first use. I used digital scales daily for cooking, sending small parcels and weighing small animals, and was precise in what I was looking for. I wanted something with a bright easy to read large display, good accuracy, 'positive' push buttons (rather than touch sensitive), easy to clean, aesthetically pleasing, the ability to change between metric and imperial in solids and liquids. Also, an easy way to 'zero' and therefore keep adding more ingredients. These scales cover all of the above criteria. They are SO easy to use you won't need the instructions provided (batteries also included) and seem very accurate. The measuring base is smaller than some larger flat glass based digital models, but because this one has the stainless steel section standing proud of the base of the unit, placing larger things on it shouldnt be a problem. It is small and slim so if you want to store it away you won't need much space. Overall delighted and hope it lasts well.

Precise and reliable kitchen scale perfectly designed for any item. Only downside is that it's not the longest living device I've owned. As with most things these days, you might get 2-3 years before it mysteriously gives up the ghost. Still, it's good enough that I keep replacing mine with the same device.

These scales are brilliant and simple to use. The flat surface means you can weigh items in pans and bowls. They are small, accurate and easy to store. Switching between metric and imperial measurements is simply pressing a button.

Stylish and work like you would expect.

The delicate platform gives an impression of precision and accuracy but it does not withstand the test of daily use. The platform is only supported by a weighing mechanism that is about 1/3 of the platform below the centre. This is quite wobbly an doesn’t cope with the demands of daily use and heavy items. Lasted less than a week before the weighing mechanism gave way and the platform tilted. So no longer working. Item returned for a more sturdy model without the wobble.

These simply work! They're accurate, the buttons are tactile and easy to use. The Display is nice and bright and clear to use The accuracy is spot on The previous set I bought some years ago were the dual scake version and as you can see from my video review the weight was changing in front of your eyes when an item was palced on the scales - going down and down. Thoise did not inspire confidence and were returned as unfit for purpose in common with many others. So taking a chance on the single platform version from Heston Blumenthal some years later, I have to say they are brilliant and work just as they should. I hope this contunues to be the case going forward.

Easy to use the controls, wonderful clear display and good looking too. It’s easy to clean as well. It measures in metric and imperial and by fluid ounces as well. I haven’t used it for fluid measurements for cooking but did do a check and it was accurate. It’s very slim so fits conveniently in gaps in my cupboard. I realise that some may not like the Heston branding on it but that doesn’t detract that it’s a very good piece of measuring equipment.
