Nice little kit, does the job
I bought this kit to dismantle some old console parts in an attempt to find out why they weren't working and see if they could be revived. Tools worked well, fit the holes and were clearly marked with their sizes, but sadly the console was not able to be revived. I wouldn't take the risk of opening up a non-broken console, but if yours is dead and you just want to have a look inside, these tools will help you get it open(spoiler: it'll be full of dust). Probably a useful kit for professional console repairers if there are people who do that, tools seems sturdy enough(although they are tiny!), and would hopefully last a while. Good selection of sizes included, bit of a one-job tool for home users(unless you're frequently opening up your electronic goods, I suppose) as they don't fit normal screws, but they were inexpensive and worked well. Might be good for getting into laptop parts also, but I haven't tried those. Screws were undamaged after using the tool, which is good as others I've used in the past have a tendency to be a bad fit and damage the screw so you might get it out once but won't get it back in or be able to remove it again. Price was great. It's a bit annoying having to buy something else to be able to buy them, but I understand why it's done that way and if you're not in a rush, you can just add them to your next Amazon order.

Very good tool set and worth the money.
I have taken receipt of various Torx sets over the years but these are far and away the best set I have had. They come in a very handy hard plastic case that opens allowing easy access to all screwdrivers. The screwdrivers themselves are well made and after several uses I have not noticed any wear to the Torx heads; something that is common on most sets of this price range. However, most important is that these indicated sizes are accurate! I have numerous Torx bits that are either just too big or just too small. However these can be a bit difficult to use if the screw you are attempting to use is in tight. These units are fairly small (measuring about 11 cm long by at the most 1 cm in width) and that makes it awkward to grip firmly enough for those annoyingly overtightened screws. Fortunately they are strong enough to allow the use of a helpful pair of pliers, gripping the screwdriver around its waist. I would certainly recommend these screwdrivers to all of those people wanting some cheap yet reliable Torx units.

Good price for an adequate set of tools. There are soem horrors in this price range, but these ones really work!
Nice little set for the price. There are some truly horrible, bordering on totally useless, sets out there in this price range, but these are not terrible at all. Ive already used them quite extensively, having built my new PC from ground up and tinkered with my RC helicopters and planes using them..... They have been perfectly adequate. Its worth remembering though that they are NOT top of the line tools (they are accurate in size and have good tips on them however..but not magnetic)....so care must be taken not to slip them in screws that are too large, as its pretty clear from my limited usage, that you can strip the tips to the point they cant grip the screws..(ie They are somewhat softer than what you would expect in a top of the range set) Saying that though, if you DO take care, they wont just wear down through use, like some other cheapo ones out there...but neither will they last a life time like a REALLY good set. I dont use these very small sizes very often, and have a much higher quality set for the next sizes up (so I can see and feel the difference in hardness and durability of the tips), and I would advise if you are going to be using this size tool daily, then you should spend a bit more money (as I probs will eventually!) But if you only need them for light tinkering or PC building etc, that you might only do once every few years, and find other uses every 'blue moon,...these are just great and I do recommend them to all but serious electronics pros...though serious pros will not give these a second glance anyway : D I wont hesitate to give them 5 stars though, because the price is just about perfect for what they are.

Works for Macbook Pro (March 2009 model: 5,1)
Brought this tool set to upgrade the RAM and Hard drive of my MBP (model in title) and the tool is fine for doing this job. Note: for upgrading the Hard drive a Torx T6 is also required (not included in this set), LINDY's torx screwdriver set works for that too. I'd assumed it was made of poor metal and would probably not last very long. I was surprised to find this was not the case, I believe the 'screwbit' is made of steel, not stainless as there is a black coating (protect it from rusting I guess) around the metal screwtip which will come off after a little use. The handle part is plastic, but comfortable to use. Pros: + Very cheap, yet a decent tool. Only £2.99 when I purchased it. + Works with the MBP if that is what you're after. + Fine for upgrading notebooks, etc. Cons: - Black coating will come off with use and expose the steel, which may rust in the presence of water or air moisture. - Knit-picking now, but probably not for professional use as the product description states. 4 Stars - does the job and is cost effective. Only loses one star because it's not stainless.

Excellent
Almost impossible to get in the shops, so relieved to find these online, and at a very reasonable price. I needed them to take a Skype phone apart to fit a new rear speaker (owners of Skype phones will be smiling wryly to themselves at this point...). Not only is the phone in question CRAP but it's put together with these irritating screws that no normal screwdriver will fit. All I wanted was the right size Torx screwdriver, so I wasn't too worried about the quality, etc, but these are actually very nicely made, comfortable to use, Torx drivers, and the case is quite neat too. The coloured tops rotate and, as the drivers are quite small, they fit nicely into my hand so that the top presses against my palm, giving control and pressure without any great effort - a nice bit of design. A bargain for just over three quid.

Very good set
I originally bought these to open up my XBOX 360 console when I needed to clear up the dust from it, and it's a fantastic set of screwdrivers. From what I've seen, torx screwdrivers are notorious for breaking after just a few uses due to using metal that's too soft, but these have opened up hundreds of screws since and they still work perfectly. Very high quality, and the case to keep them in is rather handy (I quite often 'misplace' tool - this makes it far harder to do). If you're looking for a cheap set of torx screwdrivers, you won't go far wrong with these.

Cheap, well packaged, and nicely designed
If you're like me, you probably have several sets of precision screwdrivers that know you've bought, but have no idea where they are. Or at least where the exact driver you need is. They're almost disposable, really. I bought this set because it was cheap and it had colours, simple as that. The set arrived in its own resealable plastic bag, which seems like a trivial thing to notice, but I found it very useful to hold screws and computer bits in while I was working. Each of the screwdrivers is colourcoded and their curvy design makes them easy to hold. Because they're different from the regular precision screwdrivers, I'll probably try a little harder not to lose them.

The best available on Amazon but surely there must be better?
Although these are well presented and do a better job than the normal "watch" type screwdrivers that most people use for small screws, these screwdrivers are missing a few things. Firstly - the white paint on the handle that specifies the size is too easily rubbed off with any kind of strong use. I tried to fix my motherboard in my new PC case as my first task, and the writing rubbed off the red one (the largest). Also - these screwdrivers are coloured which is useful when you know which is which, but sadly the case doesn't have any colour markings on it. Having these would make it much easier to place the screwdrivers back in the right places easily enough. For example, if you remove all the tools from their case, you sometimes have to think which goes where - whilst having a small coloured plastic dot on the case would allow for instant recognition of the correct place. The good points are that they are made of a tough metal so there should be little risk of shredding them. Also they are shaped in a somewhat ergonomic manner, meaning that they are comfortable to hold for some time. I purchased these along with the other Lindy box of star shaped ones, so that I have all screw types covered now. Essential for any amateur computer hardware engineer, but for long term use, I would still invest in a good quality screwdriver with swappable heads.

Soddisfatto.
