Anybody used one on a 12sting?

After my last experience with one of these capos, I won't be using them again. Stick to Schubb would be my advice.

have you got correct dimensions? the ones shown in the description seem to be ridiculously large

I've just been sent this email by Amazon, but I'm not sure exactly what I'm answering. I've seen references on other answers which seem to be for banjos. Anyway, all I can add myself is that this is the best capo I have used for 'standard' electric guitars, (Strats, Teles, Les Pauls, Semis, PRS etc). The way the fine adjustment works and the different levels of grip are just perfect because it doesn't put the strings out of tune. Just as a note of caution, I have however got another guitar with a wide, but ultra-slim neck (Ibanez, Jackson style) and this capo just doesn't work, because the grip doesn't reduce down enough to the slim 'thickness', so I have to resort to the heavy ©Shubb, which are best suited to acoustics. This ®Planet Waves one, although gentle, is more than man enough for heavy strings acoustic guitars as well.

Will this fit an ordinary acoustic guitar?

Yes and perfect for one as well. As you can adjust the pressure this one does NOT make indents/damage the frets, which is very costly to rectify. Recommended.

Hi, is the capo lite suitable for an acoustic 6 string guitar? what is the difference in the lite and the capo pro normal size

Hi, I use one of these on both electric and acoustic guitars with no problem. The difference between the Lite and Pro is in the construction material. The Lite being ABS plastic (which would need a hammer to break!), the Pro being Aluminium.
