It did the job. The handle was a bit wonky. I used hot steam to soften and to amend it. Please be aware: it is light, hollow plastic that in close up doesn't look anything like wood.

Used for a show was great

These judges hammers were a great addition to our judges outfits for our dramas at church. They look realistic and are fairly sturdy. However, I wouldn't put too much pressure on them (obviously) as they are only meant as a prop and shouldn't be bashed about too much! They are made of plastic and are lightweight.

It's not clear in the write up but it's cheap plastic. Not fit for the purpose it's meant to perform. If you hit the table with it, there is no sound and it won't last for more than a few hits. Requested refund immediately!

Great fun, good value for money

I wasn't expecting much for a fiver but this is very poor quality. The plastic is very thin and uneven. Save yourself a few pounds and get one from a joke shop, they'll sell them much cheaper.

J'ai acheté ce petit marteau de juge pour une pièce de théâtre. Mais la partie du manche la plus fine me parait bien peu solide: je crains qu'après un ou deux coups sur le bureau, la tête ne se décolle dudit manche...
