This may work depending on the height difference, however this will then be a 'ramp' and the screws will be fitted at an angle. This may cause issues. What is the depth of the trim from floor to underside of the door?

When fitted the trim depth is about 3+mm, i.e. very low. the depth to the underside of your door you will have to measure yourself. Hope this helps
