A very restful diversion on the way to mindfulness.
This is a very nice book indeed, it's a good size, the pictures leave you room to work, and although it's breaking the habits of a lifetime I enjoy colouring in the pictures. Having to work with the spine of the book is a pain, maybe a larger single leaf A3 sized book is a way forward? The pages are double sided which I think is a mistake as it makes those who use felt tips live in fear of the ink bleeding through the pages. I used coloured pencils so don't have that issue, although I do keep them sharp for the fiddly bits. As a step towards mindfulness I find it works well, it relaxes me, drives out the negative and distracting thoughts, and I just drift away colouring away and my only worry is a sharp pencil and what colour to use. I am even letting go of my urge to use proper colours for things, and picking bold colours, or what I would have considered the wrong colours for things in the past. Even if you aren't looking to achieve mindfulness this is an easy way to spend a couple of relaxing hours, this would be good for bored kids, too old for kiddies colouring books, but not confident enough to do their own art. I\d even go so far as to leave a couple of books around the office to allow stressed people to take some time to relax and step away from their cares and worries. So while there are a couple of niggles with the book I can live with those, and would say that this is a very enjoyable book and I am happy to spend my time colouring in cats and their environments. Update: Now I've had the book a while my only issue is still that it would be better as a single sided print in A3 size, then I might have a go with paint. The spine makes it hard to get into the crease and even good quality felt tips and fineliner pens can seep through to the next picture. That said I do find it a way to relax, chill out, and de-stress. I find myself chuckling at purple and green cats, well I say that I am colour blind, I wonder what someone with good colour vision would make of my choice of colours.

quirky cats and happy smiles
I love the colours but some of the pictures are really fiddly, keeps me quiet for a few hours and keeps me happy, the pages are thick so no risk of ruining the picture the other side, there are a few pages where the picture spread onto 2 pages so if you want to frame them then it's going to be a challenge. other than that. fun designs and patterns and will keep anyone entertained for hours

Quirky and fun
I like it so much I’ve ordered a second one. Bought as nearly new and came in great condition. It is relaxing colouring it in. L picture shows the first page I chose to colour. I used Faber Castell coloured pencils. The pages are nice and smooth for colouring and take the colour really well. I’m looking forward to colouring more from this book. I chose the book for the theme and almost dismissed it when I received it thinking it wasn’t for me. But, now I love it. So I highly recommend it.

Cute designs and thick paper
Pages are really thick - even my water brush style pens don't leak through - and the designs are gorgeous.

Love This!
The illustrations in this book are really quirky and perhaps not to everyone's taste but I love them. I use pencils to colour with some gel pen highlights and the paper has been great for both though I don't know if it would cope with watercolours or markers. This book will be fun to colour.😁

This is a cute and funny set of 60 cat designs. It is the European version of the book (can tell as the price is written in English pounds) and, at the time I am writing this review, it takes a few days extra to receive it when it is ordered. The pages are printed on both sides which seems to be very common with European coloring books. The paper is white and is not perforated. The paper weight is good but all of my gel pens and markers bleed through. As every design in this book is cute and I will want to color them all, I will be using my colored pencils for this book. Some of the designs are printed wholly within a page and a good number of them span across two sheets. The binding is glued and not sewn which may make it a little more difficult to take apart. Most of the designs merge into the binding, so coloring into the edges is not easy. Having said all of that, for cat lovers, this is a fantastic set of designs. There are so many that I like, I don't know which is my favorite but I am thinking of starting with “Washing Day”. Giving my cats baths has always been an enormous chore (not to mention a tad dangerous if they aren't in the mood.) The idea of hanging them on the line to dry really touches my funny bone. I don't know if the artist plans a US release of this book or not. If so, I may pick up a second one and use markers and gel pens on my favorite images. I may do that even if they don't release it here. I think it is one of the cutest cat coloring books I have seen yet and it was well worth the wait.
