The Gold Standard for cats with liver problems.
This is what vets recommend for cats with liver issues. It's important to check who is selling it (Amazon likely ok but third party sellers could be suspect) and see that the batch no. and use by date on the blister pack matches the box, and no blurry lettering or misspellings. My box was the same batch as the one from the vet.The tablets should be given unbroken and on an empty stomach. This is important because the special coating has to remain intact until it reaches the stomach and the presence of food will prevent the active ingredients from working properly. Then you have to wait at least an hour before feeding. This does not go down well with my cat . It's bad enough that he has to start his day being being force fed a pill (a pill gun is useful) but to add insult to injury he then has to wait an hour for his breakfast.I'm starting to see results. He plays more, eats better and the lethargic behaviour is gone. His last blood test showed everything else is OK so he's only being treated for elevated liver enzymes. As he's sixteen and a half this was to be expected.I'll get a clearer picture when he has his next blood test and will update then.

It looks genuine
This was prescribed by my vet . I found it cheaper here than from my Vet. Some people said some medicines might be counterfeit unless it is from registered pharmacy. How can I know if the look the same ! My dog is doing OK with this so far

Works well but wish it was cheaper
I am using this for my chihuahua who developed abnormal liver function as measured in routine blood tests.I can't fault the effectiveness of Denamarin because the repeat blood test results show an improvement to within the normal range. The only thing that has changed since the original blood test is the start of Denamarin.It is difficult to administer and so I take heart that it is permissible to hide the tablet in a small amount of food even if it is better to give the tablet on a completely empty stomach.The price is fairly high even though my veterinary surgery charges over twice the price that Amazon is charging.Still there doesn't seem to be a cheaper alternative that contains both active ingredients.Ultimately, I will pay the monthly cost because it does seem to work.

Strong Taste
Tastes too strong to hide in anything I use for other tablets for my cat. A shame because as a vet nurse I know this product is great.

Trusted brand & vet recommended. Better price than they charge though!
Recommend by the vet for long term support to aid one of my cats with a particular problem. Do be careful when buying online that you are not getting fake goods though, as according to my vet these kinds of branded item are often copied. Luckily for me, these checked out with the manufacturer.
