I wouldn't use this instead of soil, it has no nutrients, it only retains water.

How do you use this for house plants? Do I wet it first then add to soil or add to soil then water the plant. Thank you

You mix it into the soil, plant your plants like you would normally do and water the first time till very wet! Once gel has taken the moist it will release it over a longer period of time. It works a treat! I also use a half handful around the roots of the plants extra just to make sure! Went on holiday for 3 weeks and plants survived brilliantly! Good luck!

Can someone confirm how many grams are in a scoop? Just take a scoop and weigh it please.. be good to know roughly how many scoops per pack you get!
