Bright, dimmable, and halogen like
I have used these bulbs for 2 years and really glad I got them. Their are nice LED replacement and indeed upgrade for halogen bulbs - with much lower power consumption and heat production which could degrade the lamp shade or even base. At the same time they reproduce the warm and sharp lighting atmosphere of halogen bulbs and are just as dimmable. From these nice bulbs and the dimmer switch controlling them I have not noticed any buzzing or flickering whatsoever. Very happy to recommend.

Excellent LED bulbs for small lamps
Wanted something small, but LED for bedside lamp. Similar in size to old filament golf ball bulbs (marginally bigger). The light spread is fantastic and not directional like many LED lamps. Light quality is great. It is a 'pure white' light, but without being too cold or blue. Definitely not a yellow light like many which can make your decor look odd at night.Expensive, but if they last it will be worthwhile.

Possible manufacturing issues
I have a whole house full of different Philips LED bulbs and have always been pleased by the quality and longevity of their products. However, these bulbs do seem to have some manufacturing issues. I use them in touch-sensitive bedside lights in two bedrooms. I have noticed two distinct problems:1. Some of the bulbs emit quite a loud buzzing noise, which is quite annoying when reading at night! This seems to only happen with certain bulbs. I ended up buying 7 of these bulbs and keeping the 2 that didn't buzz.2. Even the bulbs that don't buzz may start to buzz after a while. I have noticed this with one of the bulbs that I kept. It seems that I can "cure" the problem by turning the light off and then on again.I'm not quite sure what is happening here, but perhaps some part of the bulb is resonating for some reason. If you get a bulb that doesn't buzz then these are really great, with excellent light and a long life - the oldest ones that I have are about 4 years old and are used every night. However, it may take a few tries before you find one that doesn't buzz.

Perfect, lovely warm light and nice glow effect
OK so LED bulbs are never cheap, but these are a real success for Philips. Really nice warm white / gold light colour. Design glows really nicely and a quality looking bulb when lit.Installed with dimmer, 4 wall lights on single dimmer and no flicker at all, even when dropped to the faintest glow. Really pleased.

A LED bulb that doesn't flicker or buzz!
We have a touch dimmer lamp from ASDA which has three brightness settings. I'd done some research on the internet following the standard filament bulbs that we've got from the supermarket constantly breaking! I've purchased the dimmable LED bulbs made by the supermarkets and also tried a £10 one made by OSRAM. The problem with all of them was that they either flicker when dimmed or give out a loud buzz. I'd read up that this bulb didn't do either of those so decided to give it a go.The result is that there is no flickering at any level! This is the major make or break issue for me and the bulb delivers on this point. The buzzing is not an issue! I'm not going to say that there is no buzzing but I literally have to stick my head next to the bulb and listen carefully and I can just about hear a very low buzz. This is in now way audible in usual circumstances so isn't an issue for me!The bulbs colour and power is just right for a bedroom light or in a front room for a cost dimmed light feel!A good purchase if you want a dimmable bulb that doesn't made your room sound and look like a buzzing disco!

Excellent Dimmable Lights by Philips
These dimmable light bulbs by Philips are slightly expensive but in my view worth the money. They give a nice even light when dimmed that has a nice warm glow but when turned on full give a really good bright white light.

It buzzes
Quite a cool looking light bulb, it dims well but it emits a slight buzzing sound which my E14 screw in halogens don't and the light it casts is a bit uneven, a bit like a chandelier would cast, personally I prefer a even spread of light, I marked it down on packaging to 3 because there is an unnecessary about of plastic packaging (not very green bearing in mind its supposed to be a green lightbulb)

Nice light but make noise
I don’t know whether it is the bulb or the lamp fitting, but they make an electrical buzzing sound. Not very loud, but it should not be there. The light is nice and warm otherwise.

Fina ljusbrytningar i glaset

Also. Richtiger Dimmer = problemloser Einsatz.
