Sensitive Facial Cleanser

This face cleanser is possibly the best cream cleanser I've tried in ny life. I have been using it for 4 years and couldn't be without it. The negative reviews on using this face cleanser COMPLETELY WRONG lol It does remove makeup brilliantly, especially waterproof mascara it will literally remove any type of makeup without drying out the skin. But you have to use it with a face cloth! You apply it to dry skin, massage all over to break up the makeup or spf, then add some water and massage your face again to emulsify it. Then take a wash cloth or face cloth and gently wipe it away. Then rinse with water. If you don't have super dry skin, then you can follow this with a gentle low foaming face wash,(I love simple micellar water boost cleanser) to remove any product left over. This is my 2 step routine and I have naturally oily,acne prone skin that is extremely sensitive, but I also use many prescription acne gels/creams which massively dry my skin out and this cleanser helps loads with that. It doesn't cause breakouts or irritation it really is my holy grail product. Also, must add that if you ever find your skin barrier is compromised then you can also use this as a face mask. I slather a load of this on and leave until dry, then rinse and use face wash and my skin is so much calmer and much more hydrated. I also use the oat cleansing balm from the inkey list and that is fantastic too, but this burts bees one can be used as a face mask which works amazingly, whereas the inkey list balm doesn't really do much when used as a mask.

My child uses this and has extremely sensitive skin. This does not cause dry skin and is moisturising at the same time. The size is good and lasts a reasonable amount of time. Does not smell strong and is very gentle. Good value for money

I was a bit in doubt when I ordered this item, as I generally do not like cleansing milks and creams, but the fact that it has to be used on wet skin and rinsed off convinced me. In addition, it's SLS and parabens free and smells delicious. I have to admit that I really like the product. It feels a bit greasy to start with, but it emulsifies nicely on the skin, it cleans deeply and rinses off well. I also noticed a reduction of pores. I will definitely buy it again.

Having spent most of my adult life buying high-end cleansing products, a decision to step back professionally for better quality of life meant a complete rethink in terms of my beauty regime. I tried a lot of budget products before being pointed in this direction by a friend. This product is genuinely better than the £30 cleanser I was using before. It is so rich that you only need a tiny amount and it leaves my aged 40+ skin feeling nourished and cleansed. I had combination skin and initially thought the richness of this product would cause breakouts... I’ve found the opposite. I can’t recommend this cleanser enough. Don’t tell Burt’s bees though, I don’t want them raising the price!

I absolutely love this skin cleanser. I have really sensitive skin and kept getting breakouts/rashes from various products. This is perfect for me - no reaction whatsoever. The consistency is nice and creamy, and a little goes a long way so lasts a while!

When I first started using this product I was a bit put off by its creamy substance. I felt that it does not really clean your face and went for black soap instead which cleans but also dries out significantly. I get break outs frequently but also have a very dry skin. However, after having used this regularly for several months I was astonished to see a much younger looking complexion, the skin is much smoother and glowing. I give this five stars now. It won’t make a difference after few days - you need months to see the effects. I would definitely recommend it.

Not the best cleanser I have used but it is nice enough. It's a bit too thick for my liking. You can't just rinse this off, you will need to use a cloth to remove the cleanser first. As far as I know it does remove all makeup and sunscreen when used this way. There is no fragrance, it is mild and does not appear to cause any irritation to my sensitive skin. I don't think it improves the look of my skin in any way, its just a cleanser and nothing more. I do like it's mild formula and I'd imagine the tube will last a long time, so for these reasons I would purchase again.

I use this morning and night as a cleanser. Adding a bit of water and massaging it into my skin helps it deal with my long-lasting foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear). I then remove it with a hot, damp flannel. Perfect for my skin as it doesn't make me break out, nor does it inflame my skin. I'm 20 so I have quite young skin but I have dry patches in the centre of my face and acne around my chin and cheeks. Having used this for over a year now, this product is a must-have for me. I would argue that, in terms of quality, it is comparable to the Liz Arden Hot Cloth Cleanser but considerably cheaper.

Meine Haut ist von Natur aus sehr empfindlich und neigt zu jedem Makel den man haben kann... fettig/trocken/grobporig/mega empfindlich. Ganz tolle Mischung. Ich habe die Reinigungslotion aus Neugier wegen der anderen guten Rezensionen bestellt und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Meine Haut ist nach der Reinigung nicht irritiert oder ausgetrocknet, sie fühlt sich einfach sauber und rein an. Ich wage zu behaupten, wenn ich die Lotion vertrage, verträgt sie jeder...da meine Haut die Weltmeisterschaft der zickigsten Haut wohl leider gewinne möchte. Der Preis ist natürlich eher im mittleren Segment anzusiedeln, aber, es geht um meine Gesichtshaut und wenn ich gute Qualität für mein Ged bekomme, was hier der Fall ist, habe ich kein Problem etwas mehr zu zahlen. Alle Inhaltsstoffe sind soweit ok und ich finde die Lotion recht ergiebig. Für trockene, unreine, empfindliche, schnell nachfettende Haut zu empfehlen. Ich werde dabei bleiben und sobald meine Gesichtscreme leer ist auch die Creme der Serie testen. 5 Sterne.

This is a thick white non-soapy, non-foaming cream cleanser that comes in a tube. So, just a heads up if suds or lather is what you would rather prefer. It is mainly natural ingredients, leaping bunny certified (meaning it is cruelty-free) & responsible resourcing-it states all that on the back of the tube. My skin gets more reactive especially in winter with dry indoor heating and cold outdoor winds. I need a cleanser that is fragrance-free and isn't foaming so it doesn't strip my skin of moisture or make it rough. I have mature older type skin and no difficulties with this but very oily skinned or acne-prone might require/need something else-remember if it is lather you want this doesn't foam, it is cream based.. And, if you are new to a product or have sensitive or rosacea skin it might be prudent to test it out slowly to see how your skin adjusts and/or reacts and heed your skin's response. And it also states "on the tube" to avoid contact with eye area but then "any" soap, cleanser and/or shampoo, with the exception of baby shampoo maybe, could sting if you get it in the eyes. I use eye-makeup remover specifically made for that purpose to cut-down on irritation. This cleanser contains aloe which adds some moisturizing properties. If I am wearing transfer resistant long-wearing makeup I remove it first with micellar water or a makeup remover tissue. That way I don't have a lot of gunky makeup on my face mixed in with cleanser that doesn't always rinse off that well (it's not exactly a makeup remover that's why I use something else first to remove makeup prior to cleansing). Then I dampen my face first and apply a small amount of cleanser to clean my face working it in circular motions with my fingertips. The cleanser is rather thick but I have found removing it with a damp washcloth works well. I allow my face to dry then apply treatment or moisturizer (always use sunscreen during the day). For someone that had former skin issues my skin looks better and gets noticed. It is an economical way to keep my face clean and there are no parabens or phthalates in this cleanser either. I wouldn't use a highly foaming cleanser or something with salicylic acid because it doesn't suit my skin type but I use this because quite simply it did the job. And even if it wasn't a go to for me there are others for who it might be.
