Platinum Carbon Ink Cartridges - Black

Nice black, flows well. And waterproof once dry. I use under/over watercolours/gouache.

I love this ink. I have it in a bottle too but I didn't want to buy another convertor for a pen I don't use much so grabbed these. Nice big cartridges, very nice quality and none of the mess of bottled ink. The ink writes silky smooth and is permanent and waterproof. I even used it on the cover of a leather effect sketchbook, I expected to be disappointed and it to smudge at least a little but on the semi-porous plastic it was spot on once it dried it was immovable. The only downside I can think of is that if your pen leaks in your pocket then your clothes will be ruined because this fantastic stuff isn't coming out any time soon.

As I expected, good BLACK ink cartridges. What more can I say ?

The Platinum Ink Cartridges fitted my ink pens so I was happy with them and I will definitely buy them again. Cartridges are much less messy than ink in bottles in my opinion

If you want to give Inktober a try but want to use the minimum of kit, these cartridges of waterproof ink, combined with a Preppy 02 or 03 might be all you need. (Add something like a pentel Aquash waterbrush filled with a light inkwash and you're good to go)

No bleed issues when used for ink and wash on watercolour paper, even when left for only a few seconds before wetting

This ink is NOT waterproof. Definitely not waterproof

This is an excellent well priced product but beware; the cartridges are not a standard fitting, wider at the base, and will not fit a range of pens. Check the size before you buy… I didn’t!

Excellent produit, qui dure longtemps et ne sèche pas dans le stylo. L'encre et profonde et sèche rapidement sur le papier, très belle qualité d'écriture avec le stylo plume pointe fine acheté en parallèle. Ravie!

Nice, rich black ink. Perfect for my Kuretake Fountain Brush Pen TAKUJO (No.8). I find that I use my pen a bit more because I like the ink, the way it flows from the pen. The cost is low enough that I can buy more than one at a time. A great refill for my pens. I also use the bottled Carbon ink in my fountain pens, so I knew the quality of the product I was buying.
