Let the wax melt all the way across the top before blowing it out—this helps prevent tunneling and makes the candle last longer. Keep it away from drafts so it burns evenly. Lovely Product! It came in fantastic wrapping, which resulted in not even a scratch on the jar. It is a great size, which I know will last a wee while. The candle itself was a bit odd, with some discolouration which I don't see on most Yankee Candles. However, the smell of the candle is amazing and it makes for a great gift or your home.

The Lemon & Lavender Yankee Candle is wonderful. The lemon scent is the most noticeable, but it’s pleasantly fresh and not at all overpowering. The touch of lavender softens it nicely, making the fragrance uplifting yet calming at the same time. It quickly fills the room with a clean, refreshing aroma that makes the space feel inviting. I think the Yankee Candle Large Lemon Lavender Jar Candle is a good deal at $0.64 per ounce. The lemon and lavender scent is relaxing, and the candle is well-made with a uniform construction. It has a long burn time and burns most of the wax which can be a issues sometimes. The candle uses paraffin wax, which creates some soot, but this keeps the cost low. If you want a lot of candle for your money, buy this when it's under $0.70 per ounce and consider getting a few. Overall, it's a good value for a long-lasting, nice-smelling candle, but you will get more smoke than with a more expensive wax like soy or beeswax; however, those ingredients force the price to be much higher. You are getting a decent scent and a very well made glass jar and lots of burn time, so much that you don't really have to wonder if it is a good deal, it is when the price is $17 or less. With inflation that is going to go up pretty fast but as of Sept 2024 it is an excellent price.
