Yes, I think this would, (depending of course on what size bows you are thinking of - the width is 10mm). But the satin does not fray too much (and you could hem the ends easily) and would make neat little bows. It is smooth and ties easily. You could construct a bow and then stitch it onto the dress through the knot quite easily.
