Transon Assorted Paint Brush Set of 6

I love love love these brushes. I recommend all my students get those. I love the firmness and how they hold together when you paint with them it’s just a great brush.

I initially bought these brushes for watercolor, but found them a bit too stiff. I recently started using gouache and these brushes are perfect for gouache. They are now my go-to brushes for gouache, especially the flat ones. They are easy to clean and I have not experienced any shedding after using them for a couple of weeks. By the way, the smaller flat brush is perfect for watercolor swatching. The watercolor brushes I have are more absorbent and take way more pigment needed for a small swatch wash. Overall, these are quality budget brushes that work the best for thicker mediums like gouache and acrylics.

I use both expensive and inexpensive brushes, and often go through them fairly quickly. I decided to try these without expecting much and ended up pleasantly surprised. They appear to be well made with a finish far above most inexpensive brushes you'll find on Amazon, and even on par with some expensive American and European brushes I use.. I haven't used them very long or heavily (they're small), but they did contribute to a couple of tightly rendered under paintings (oils) and they didn't lose their point or start to splay. I'd recommend them and think they're worth trying. I'm glad I did and have ordered them several times now. Good luck.

The bristles are nice and soft helping eliminate brush strokes and have a quality feel to the brush handle. I would purchase again
