HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BETWEEN APPLYING EACH LAYER OF LIQUITEX PERMANENT SPRAY VARNISH?

Ensure the artwork is fully dry before varnishing and allow at least 12 hours drying between coats of varnish.

CAN I USE LIQUITEX VARNISHES TO PROTECT ARTWORKS, INCLUDING GICLEE PRINTS AND TRADITIONAL GOUACHE PAINTINGS?

On giclee prints, use Liquitex Gloss Varnish or Soluvar, starting with a fine mist and layering coats for best results. For waterproofing gouache on canvas, use Permanent Spray Varnish, but subsequent paint layers may not adhere to the varnish.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER MY SPRAY VARNISH AND STOP NOZZLE CLOG?

Shake aerosol cans before use, store above 15°C, and clear the nozzle by spraying propellant. Hold the container upside down and spray for a few seconds before and after use—this releases only propellant, helping to keep the nozzle clear.

DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK WHEN SPRAYING LIQUITEX VARNISH?

Wear a mask and maintain good ventilation when using Liquitex Varnish. Use a suitable respirator for the working environment.
