BRILLIANT
I wanted to paint my hall stairs and landing and I am a bit of a perfectionist as the Painter I got in was totally crap and useless. He was lucky he left with his life I did however sue him for damages to my walls and carpet. Decided to do it myself bought this 15L Paint Scuttle sturdy, well made no issues would recommend this scuttle for homeowners or real professionals, I would also say do your own painting of your home along with your partner as you will enjoy yourself have fun and take your time as it took met two weeks as I had to repair the walls and replaster them myself, prep them and paint them turned out beautiful so my wife and family have said and it is hard to get good craftsmen or women these days with all the idiots who think they can paint.

Wash bucket after use 👍
Perfect size for a large roller👍

Good but needs deeper ribs.
Fairly well built, easier to cover with a bin bag between coats than a tray, easy to clean. Less risky than a tray and far fewer/no refills - leftovers fairly easy to decant back in to a tin. The ribs are too shallow - if you have dunked your roller then it is too heavy (with thick creamy paint) for the friction the ribs give so takes multiple attempts to remove excess paint before it will rotate and allow correct loading. Pleased I got it and prefer it to a tray.

Scuttle
Great value for money paint scuttle, I have paired this with the bags for putting inside it so it is a breeze to clean.

Large Capacity
Way better than using a paint tray if your decorating at height as it saves time up and down the ladder, used with the liners cleaning is such an easy process as there is none.

Tough plastic and good size well worth buying
Well made, tough plastic and large size to take 12 inch roller which is why I bought it holds plenty paint too so don't have to keep refilling from messy paint tubs. Great addition to my painting tools and should last a long time.

Big paint bucket
Needed this when painting the outside of the house and it’s been a godsend. Quality seems good and no problems to report.

Does the job - but not very stable
I used this to hold masonry paint when repainting my garage. The slight V shape of the scuttle means when you run the roller up the side, the scuttle has a tendency to tip over unless you stick out a foot to stop it from doing so. If you look at the Purdy 15 litre paint scuttle, it has the same shape but there are moulded feet at each corner that make it much more stable when running the roller up the side. It's more expensive than this Faithfull one, but on reflection I would rather have paid the extra money for the additional stability and peace of mind when using it.
