UGEARS Harry Potter Flying Ford Anglia

This was a great 3D puzzle to put together. Super fun to build, easy instructions. Looks great. High-quality product overall. Great for any Harry Potter fan who likes a bit of a challenging stepping up to 3D puzzles. More fun to work on than regular puzzles. And you get to display it for years to come. Great gift idea too. Lots of detail. Can recommended for sure. Don't hesitate to pick one up today.

My husband loved this kit! It was so well put together, it was fun (and challenging) to assemble, and after it was all put together, it actually works! A fun little pinball game, but of course most of the fun is in its assembly.

Fantastic product, parts lock together great in most cases with very little breakage. Very clear and precise instructions.

One of the best gifts for that Harry Potter fan in your life. It is made of a balsa like wood, so it can be very flimsy and break easily if you use to much force. As long as your careful, its a wonderful build. I bought this for my wife as a birthday present and she absolutely loved it.

This is a beautiful set but is very difficult to put together, the pieces break easily, the instructions are confusing/hard to follow, and overall it requires an extreme amount of patience and seems more suited for someone with experience putting these types of sets together, rather than something for beginners.

First, let me say that I have assembled numerous wooden models, including 15+ that were made by UGEARS. I especially like the UGEARS models because they are challenging, but at the same time fun and rewarding to assemble. Another reason for liking the models from UGEARS is that they are made by a Ukrainian company, and part of their profits go to support the Ukrainian people. That being said, I chose the Ford Anglia car kit to build for my grandnephew who is a big Harry Potter fan. As said in my "headline", this is a good model, and most of its features work as described. The only real flaw in the model itself is that the spring provided simply isn't strong enough to propel the car adequately. Even with thoroughly sanded and waxed gears, the car will only run a few feet, if it will run at all. The good news in this regard is that the car can be placed in neutral so that it can be played with and pushed by hand, a very nice alternative to the spring drive! The other problem with the kit, and one that I have not encountered with other UGEARS models, is that the components for the car are most difficult to remove from the plywood in which they are laser cut. For this model, I had to use a utility knife to individually cut the multiple wooden connections that hold every part in place before it is removed for assembly. This is a very time consuming and delicate process that may not be acceptable to some, especially younger builders of such models. I don't know if others have had the same problem with this kit, so it is entirely possible that it is unique to the kit I bought, or perhaps only to some of the kits in this series. Anyway, now that it is done, I'm sure my grandnephew will enjoy playing with it...........it has many good features!

I would not recommend this item. Pieces break with the slightest pressure. I spent hours being as careful as I could and meticulously put piece by piece together just for the last few pieces to snap when I tried to put them on.

Is goed te doen. Onderdelen gaan niet snel kapot. Zit een zeer goede beschrijving bij. Wel veel kracht in de vingers nodig maar dan heb je ook iets moois.

Es ist ein Schmuckstück in unserer Vitrine mit nunmehr 38 Puzzles. Die Bauzeit von 5 1/2 Stunden sollte nicht wundern, praktisch jedes Teil muss nachbearbeitet (wachsen und/oder schleifen) werden. Baufehler zu Beginn sind de facto irreparabel, also die Bauanleitung wirklich aufmerksam studieren - jede Zeichnung besser 3mal als 2mal.

Tolle Beschäftigung. Hab nur 3 Tage gebraucht es zusammen zu bauen.
