Zayn: The Official Autobiography

Loved this book. A few bits of information I wasn’t already aware of! 10/10, finished it within a couple of hours.

Really enjoyed it. Much more interesting than I expected it to be. It's full of little stories and lovely pictures, and give a good insight into what Zayn went through. I loved the tone of the book and feeling of intimacy. Zayn is a complex and interesting character and it will be very interesting to see him grow as an artist. I would love to hear his song Dragonfly that he didn't release and am looking forward to hearing his second album. Really worth purchasing it. One of the most fascinating celeb today.

Zayn's book is about how he felt when he left 1D, as well as how he had to go get his own vibe, and his own feelings. I really LOVE the footnotes he did about the songs from his debut album like it gave such a powerful insight into what he did, how he did it, and more. I highly recommend this to everyone, who wants to read such a passionate, thoughtful autobiography of an amazing solo-artist!! :)

Amazing photographs and a very thoughtful and honest text which was very interesting, helpful (and painful, of course) to read for a person dealing with similar problems such as anxiety.

I am really enjoying reading this book so far. Zayn talks quite a bit about his anxiety, him losing weight while in One Direction because of the stress of touring etc and his decision to leave One Direction. I learnt that Zayn is quiet and prefers to be by himself sometimes, he even considers himself as an outsider. Zayn briefly talks about his relationship breaking down with Perrie. He talks in depth about his family, his background such as where he grew up and how common/simple the town Bradford is, which is where he grew up. I really like the photographs included in this book too. There is quite a lot to read though, but the interesting pics of Zayn, his family, the places he loves and has been to etc gives this book a good balance. I felt sorry for Zayn after reading the first 25 pages of this book. He experienced a lot of setbacks and highs in One Direction. I now think that Zayn made the right decision to leave One Direction and follow his own desires. This book is definitely worth buying. I only paid £2.20 for it and the postage and packaging only cost me £2.80.

Gave three stars as I had to remind myself that this was supposedly written by a kid presumably for kids. I'm left feeling as though listening to his album would tell me far more about him than this autobiography did. A very empty book full of pretty pictures. Reads like a playlist on repeat. I'm wondering if Zayn has ever read an autobiography & why the publisher accepted it as one. And how did kindle come up with a reading time of approximately five hours? It took me less than two - I read a lot on kindle and I've never been that far off before.

Nesse sentido, ele é um livro que pode servir de inspiração para qualquer pessoa, fã ou não, artista ou não.

Muy pocas veces he leído una autobiografía y me he quedado a cuadros. Este libro es estupendo, Zayn no sólo cuenta cosas importantes como su paso por One Direction sino que habla de cuando deja la banda, su relación con Harry, Louis, Liam y Niall, y también de sus problemas personales como la ansiedad, etc. Normalmente estos libros suelen irse por las ramas y tener mucho relleno. Este no es el caso, cada página está llena de fotos impresionantes y de contenido muy muy interesante. Otro apartado a destacar es la fotografía. En vez de usar fotos cutres antiguas han hecho un montón de sesiones y las fotos tienen una calidad impresionante. Es un libro de los que guardas para siempre y que al final se convierten en un objeto de coleccionista cuando pasan los años.

It is one of the best books I bought in 2016! It is such a good source for anyone who wish to learn the actual reason for the decision Zayn made back in March, 2015. It not only covered all the qestions I had about him leaving the band but it also showed me a glimpse of Zayn that I had never seen before in the 5 years of my dedicated stalking (honestly, there is no other way to describe it) The book also tells a background story of all the songs from Zayn's album, BEFOUR which makes the songs all the more personal and special. Not only is the content of the book amazing but the full aesthetic of this book is beautiful! And the reason is not just Zayn's full page pictures but also the great quality of the pages and the splash of bright green colour which brings a different charachter to the book. All in all, I recommend this book to anyone who wishes to know more about Zayn and also to people who are looking for something inspiring and motivational to read because the book is all about facing different problems and coming out of them or simply accepting the fact that despite everything, one day all will be better. :)

Touchant et honnête, l'authenticité c'est ce qu'on attend d'un artiste, c'est très rare dans cette industrie gangrenée par le pognon. Le fait qu'il partage sur son anxiété est aussi important pour toutes celles et ceux qui en souffre au quotidien, ce livre est important car on a enfin sa version des faits sans modification par les médias, sans parler des sublimes photographies pour illustré son parcours, des explications sur les lyrics et sa conception de la musique, bravo à toi Zayn.

Lovely book, all his songs are explained in depth and you get his perspective on his life. Highly recommend this book
