What is the difference between the 30 set that is traditional and the one that stands up?

Hi, my wife advises the 30 set give great loose curls and the skinny ones give you spiral curls. Hope this helps 

I think you would need to ask the manufacturer but they do get very hot.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT! Maybe set on higher heat? I only use the lower heat switch because of short hair. I purchased a set in 2019 December, I would not be without this set! Being mid-seventies now with fine, permed and tinted hair which is very short, I find that using the two smallest size rollers, yellow and white, I am able to cope with every length, and with combination of heat protect spray, mousse and setting spray, I get a longer lasting set, which is more durable than my hairdresser using Velcro rollers! (though I could not do without her expert style-cutting!!) I would like BaByliss to make a 'short-hair version' with double the yellow and white rollers, as I run out of the yellow when I get to the last strands! Enjoy using them!

What are super grips? Are they the ones that cover roller?
