Fantastic machine, 100% recommend
I was pondering on getting a bread maker for a little while, but avoiding it as it's a lot of money to spend on something you might not bother sticking with for long. I decided to mooch about and see what was available, stumbling across this fella. It's a nice comfortable price point, so wouldn't have felt like a waste should it have ended up living it's life in a cupboard, never to see the light of day again. However... He lives on my worktop and is in use multiple times a week, I LOVE this thing! It's so easy to use, there's no real set up. You plug it in, add your ingredients, set to the right type and size, and off it goes. It does all the mixing and baking for you, very little time or effort is required to make fresh, tasty bread. I don't have a lot of worktop space, and it is a decent sized machine, but it slots in nicely without sticking out too much so I don't mind the size at all. It gets quite busy when mixing the dough, but it's nicely stable and sturdy so doesn't rock about at all when in use. It comes with a booklet full of recipes for various bread types, our favourite is the french style loaf as the crust is lovely. It beeps to let you know when to add additions (my personal favourite to add is jalapeno and cheddar!) I've also used it to whip up dough to make bread rolls with, it's a lovely addition to the kitchen and I'd not be without it now, I've not bought store bought bread since getting it a couple of months ago.

GREAT PRODUCT and WELL WORTH BUYING
I'm completely new to breadmaking and decided on this model because it was reasonably priced and had excellent reviews. It also looked as though it was straightforward to operate and the fact that it has been around for a long time makes it a worthy choice. I haven't been disappointed and feel I made the right decision on the model. Results have been excellent and I'm delighted with my developing bread making skills. No more supermarket bread for me. I'm absolutely sold on this machine. 10/10 Morphy Richards.

Good value
Only used it once so far, made a basic white loaf that came out really nice. Compact size ,quite easy to operate. Not to impressed with the quality of the cup and measuring spoons that are supplied with it would have been better if they were stainless steel instead of plastic, but for the price can’t complain.

For the price the Morphy Richard’s bread machine is a very good buy
I had an expensive Panasonic some years ago and it made perfect bread of all kinds but it got too heavy for me to lift and eventually sold it. I missed a bread maker so chose this M.Richards model very reasonably priced but you have to get used to it and make tweaks where needed. The plain white loaf I found was too dense but toasted very well. My favourite is the French Loaf, it’s light and really tasty bread. I don’t use oil so swapped that for butter, turned out perfect. The Fruit Loaf was successful yesterday but would use double the mixed fruit and use mixed spice instead of the suggested nutmeg. Just a personal preference. The next one I will try is the Gluten Free loaf for my daughter, let’s see how that turns out. A good tip is that you need to lightly butter the inside of the tin and the paddle before adding ingredients making it so much easier to remove loaf when baked and the paddle doesn’t stay in the bottom of the loaf. The machine is much quieter than the Panasonic and doesn’t move on my work surface when mixing, I keep mine permanently on the kitchen side as these days it’s much easier now I’m in my 80’s. Love baking and it’s a real pleasure to make my own bread again as shop bought bread is so awful. Yes I recommend this bread maker,I think for the price it’s exceptionally good value. Happy bread making!

Best bread maker I’ve ever bought
Absolutely brilliant. So easy to use. Booklet has lots of bread recipes which also includes gluten free, also makes jam & cakes. Lots of different programmes but easy to understand. Very impressed.

Delightful alternative to the supermarket.
Extremely pleased with our bread maker. The manual is very user friendly and easy to follow. The plastic utensils are all you need and a nice quality. We made our first 1lb white loaf and used the delayed timer. It was very easy to wipe clean and remove the paddle. The LED display is very well placed giving easy access and is simple to use. The viewer in the top is a great feature to have as you can check the progress without opening. Our warm, breakfast loaf was delightful with a nice fine crispy crust. We are looking forward to making some of the other recipes like the rolls and pizza. It does all the hard work for you. A great alternative to the highly processed supermarket alternatives. I would definitely buy again.

Just ho for it, wont break your bank.
A very good machine. I used to have an asda brand bread machine, it was good but broke after a few years. I wanted to get one for a while, but after doing some research (based on reviews mainly), i decided to get this one. Last night i added the ingredients for a basic bread (white), but i didnt have the exact ingredients according to the recipe book. I used AP flour, allison’s easy bake yeast and the rest. Unusual every recipe calls for milk powder, luckily i had in my cupboard (bought it for smth else entirely). I also added 4 tbsp of organic 7 seeds mix. I made sure i measured the ingredients precisely, although seed were extra ingredient. I make different sorts of breads all the time by hand, and i can honestly say, this machine made the best bread i have even made. My kids and hubby absolutely loved it. I will probably use is daily now on. I also ordered a MR recipe book for this machine, as it requires precise measurements. Cant wait to try different ones. If you’re hesitant like i was, just get it, amazing bread. Note: I forgot to select which crust, so didnt press at all, now i dont know what kind of crust would it automatically select, but the bread bake was light to medium. Please see the pics. Also another lady here posted how to take the paddle off the bread, i did it and it works perfectly.
