How much would I need for a cooling system of 8.5 litres?

I think one purchase should be sufficient , just Google and double check.

What long term damage doe's it do to the engine and water system

I used this in a 2004 Rover Streetwise that I bought in 2012. I used as a preventative measure as that particular engine was notorious for headgasket failure and the car is still running in 2022 never having had a problem with the engine except an alternator, so I would say long term damage is ZERO. I have used it in all my cheap runaround cars I have bought as my 3 sons got thier first cars and never had problems with it. Overall it seems to me to be a great product.

Im doing a coolant flush but when i fill the system back up do i fill with plan water or antifreeze to add the k seal

fill system up as normal using antifreeze and add k-seal

How much would I need to use for a 1.2L vehicle? Is it the whole bottle or part of the bottle?

I used 2 for a two litre car and sorted my issue which was a head gasket problem.
