Excellent dish rack with great design features
Wouldn't normally review something as banale as a dish rack but this one is awesome! The design means all the water runs down a single spout, straight into the drain. This means no more cleaning all the water and marks underneath as you do with a normal rack. Also if you're short on room it's great as the rack itself can sit on the kitchen work surface, either with the spout down and over the edge of the drainer, or with the spout up as a completely sealed unit which can be placed anywhere. Other nice touches are the plastic spikes for holding glasses - they are over a "lip" which means plenty of air gets into the upturned items. You get almost none of the condensation you get when placing glasses to dry on a normal rack. Straight into the cupboard, no additional polishing required. Everything else is neatly designed - good cutlery holders which are clear, which is great as you'll see any dirt/mold as soon as it starts appearing. And such a cool design for the plate holders which can fold flat if you're drying larger items. And while I don't use the ability it's neat that it all folds up. It's not perfect though... There aren't many grooves for plates. The advantage of this is the plates are well spaced out and dry super-quickly. However you can realistically only stack seven plates, so not great if you're cooking for a larger family. Finally the colour is an odd choice, a light grey which doesn't really go with most other kitchen plastics, which tend to be darker in colour. However overall very happy with this purchase, makes a tangible improvement to the kitchen!

Great design, good size and some good features for a drainer
This was to replace an old plastic drainer which on a new sink looked too small. This one is a great size and I love that you can fold the plate rack down so there is a bigger space if you've only used pots and pans. The angled design with the spout helps to remove water from around the washed up items. I've washed this with just soap and water and it was easy to clean. If you do have to pack up items this folds up easily and makes it easy to transport or store. It's a nice neutral colour which will look nice in most kitchens. This is more expensive than the basic plastic drainers but it's definitely worth it.

Really useful Dish Rack
I bought this having read several reviews. I wanted something that would be easy to clean and expandable, and can easily be put away if needed. My first reaction was boy this is big (I had a chrome standard metal one before), but once I got used to it, its actually really useful. The spikes on the side are great for glasses and mugs and there is plenty of room for cutlery. The plate holder is good but most of our plates go straight in the dishwasher, so I have found it a bit troublesome for saucepans and the like. Love the fact that you can rest it up at an angle and the water drains away, and a big plus for me is because I have a steel sink, it means I don't have to spend ages cleaning the draining board all the time, as it used to constantly need cleaning to remove the water marks. So, 4/5 because it is a bit big, and theres not the best solution for saucepans

quality is superb
Normally, I don’t write reviews, but I had to for this one! The quality is superb. I bought my first one six years ago and I’m still using it—it looks and works as good as new. These products are truly high-quality. I loved mine so much that I bought more as gifts, and everyone was impressed. I’ve had so many compliments! The subtle colour is beautiful too. With the Black Friday deal, I’m grabbing another one just to keep in stock. Highly recommend!

Not perfect but more than enough for my needs
I purchased this in Dec-22 and it has been an absolute game changer for my kitchen! This versatile dish rack has quickly become an indispensable part of my daily routine, and I can't imagine life without it. Firstly, the design is brilliant. The foldaway feature is a real space-saver, making it perfect for my compact kitchen. When not in use, I can effortlessly fold it down and store it away, freeing up valuable countertop space. Even when folded, it remains sturdy and secure, which is a huge plus. The thoughtful construction of this dish rack makes it ideal for various tasks. The plate rack accommodates a surprisingly large number of dishes, and the unique prong design securely holds everything in place. I never worry about my dishes toppling over, even when they are stacked high. What sets this dish rack apart from others is the convenient and spacious utensil holder. It's placed on the side, allowing water to drain directly into the sink, ensuring my utensils dry quickly and hygienically. No more water pooling at the bottom of a container and having to empty it repeatedly. It's made of high-quality materials, and it shows in its durability. It has been close to 8 month now and I haven't noticed any signs of wear or rust, even after extended daily use. The anti-slip feet add an extra layer of stability, making sure the rack stays put. Cleaning the dish rack is a breeze. The smooth surfaces and cleverly designed corners make it easy to wipe down, and the utensil holder can be removed for a thorough clean when needed. Two minor drawbacks. 1. I found is that the utensil holder could be a bit larger, as I have a large collection of cooking utensils. However, it still manages to hold most of them efficiently. 2. Price. Although expensive (£29.99), I was tired of buying new cheap dish racks every year so pulled the trigger on this one to see if it's worth spending more. So far I'm happy I did. All in all, the dish rack is a fantastic investment for any kitchen. Its space-saving design, sturdy construction, and efficient drying system make it a must-have. I highly recommend this dish rack to anyone looking for an upgrade in their kitchen organization. This product has exceeded my expectations.

Excellent drainer, very sturdy, great for extra drainage or dishwasher emergencies!
Just having had a new kitchen fitted, we decided to get a wall rack for dishes to save space, as most stuff goes in the dishwasher. But then the dishwasher connection needed replacing! Got this on the grounds that when entertaining we do sometimes use non dishwasher proof stuff, so something durable but stowable would be good. Very pleased with the design and durability of this. It fits happily on top of the cupboard when not in use, and doesn’t take up too much space in general whilst still holding easily enough for a days load of dishes for two of us. I love the way you can slope it and drain through a spout into the sink. Just make sure the dog hasnt jumped up and moved it if you dont want water on the surfaces! Well up to the brands usual well deserved reputation, a very good buy. Of course the next day delivery was very useful in this case...

GREAT VERSATILE DISH RACK
AN AMAZING DISH RACK! OVER THE PASSED 30 YEARS OF LIVING IN THE LONDON AREA WITH HARD WATER IT HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE TO FIND A PERFECT DRAINER THAT CUTS DOWN ON THE CLEANING AND GET A SHINE ON STAINLESS STEEL SINK TOP. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND THE IDEAL RACK...... I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS AND THE RESULT IS THAT MY SINK TOP IS STILL SHINY FROM THE DE-SCALING I DID BEFORE I INSTALLED IT. WHEN CLEANING THE RACK I RINSED IT WITH SOAPY WATER AND COULD SEE THAT THE WATER WAS JUST COMING OFF THE INTERNAL PART FORMING SMALL DROPLETS AND SLIPPING THROUGH THE LITTLE DRAIN OUTLET WITH NO RESIDUE LEFT BEHIND. MY FIRST IMPRESSION WAS THAT IT WAS PLASTIC AND WAS GOING BACK IN TIME WITH USING TACKY LOOKING DRAINER BUT THIS ONE HAS A GOOD LOOK ABOUT IT IN MY KITCHEN AND FITS IN NICELY. MY HUSBANDS OPINION WAS "ITS OK BUT NOT ENOUGH ROOM TO PUT ALL THE DISHES ON IT" I DISAGREE, NOW THE DISHES ARE PUTAWAY AS WELL AT THE SAME TIME AS BEING WASHED...... ITS GREAT!!! NO MORE DISHES LEFT OUT TO DRY, LEAVES WATER MARKS WHICH I HATE.

Great product let down by a couple of flaws
On the surface of it this is a great product but there are a couple of flaws which are really irritating me already. The spout which drains water into the sink doesn't lock into place when it is pointed down and I've found it's really easy to accidentally knock it so that it's not pointed completely down without realising which results in all the water pooling underneath the drainer instead of draining into the sink. It has happened so frequently I'm going to have to re-sand my brand new oak worksurface as it's covered in really bad water marks. If it just locked into place this wouldn't happen. Also, because it's a folding one (which is a great feature) it's getting grotty in the cracks and crevices really quickly. I've taken a toothbrush to it but where the sides fold it's quite tricky to clean. Aside from that, it's a really good product, so it's a shame that these two little niggles are spoiling an otherwise great design.

A Dish Rack for the Ages
I shopped around for dish racks - yes, I actually shopped around for a dish rack. I know, I question myself sometimes as well. But I digress... It's a bit pricier than the other ones but you get what you pay for. With the OXO brand it's usually some pretty good quality, excellent design and items that last. We wanted a rust-free, easy to clean, easy to store dish rack that was able to accommodate pots, pans and cutting boards more than dishes and that's exactly what we got. LOVE this rack. It adjusts making it really easy to hold everything. The only chrome is the handle and ours never gets wet because of the design. Genius. But that's OXO! The little drain flap in the front is great. The back has two little legs that pop down so you can place the rack on a slight angle allowing the water to run out the drain in front right into the sink. Close the flap if you don't require drainage. Haven't had any issues with water under the unit so no leaking! That's always a plus. It sits directly on our counters without a tray under it. One less thing to worry about! The two utensil holders pop right out so you can put larger items in the rack. This also makes them super easy to clean. The dish holder folds flat making even more room for larger items. So awesome! You can even fold the whole unit up and stow it away if need be. This is great when you need the extra counter space for other things. It's not super compact like the less expensive chrome and bamboo folding racks but it makes up for that in so many other ways, like not rusting or getting moldy. It's a pretty slick drying rack. I would highly recommend this to anyone who lives tiny, uses pots, pans, and larger cooking items often (more often than you run your dishwasher and/or for items not dishwasher friendly), and anyone who wants something that will last. I'm tired of living in a disposable society. I like that this rack is quality. You can see and feel that it is well made and very sturdy. I forgot to add: Yes the instructions recommend a very logical weekly cleaning. It's not hard to do. I don't even move it from it's spot on the counter. Just take the sprayer from the sink, give it a good spray, wipe it down with a clean soapy sponge, spray again, drain directly into sink through drain hole. Takes me 2 mins. Regardless of what dish rack I'm using, I would clean it anyway because a) It's a kitchen item that gets wet and slowly drip dries and b) It holds clean kitchen items you will eventually most likely eat off of. You should clean all of your dish drying racks regardless of material. Just like you should wipe down your phone - it's common sense.

BEST Drainer I Have Ever Owned
Replaced a modern nordic looking drainer that had no drain outlet with this low modern design. Has 2 pull out Back feet to aid draining angle & a pull out drain plug for over sink . Works perfectly & you can fit a big wash-up in the body. Very easy to clean over if you want to. Have had 3 drainers over 5 years & the others had lots of useful accessories like wine glass drainers, however the drainage systems & inside surfaces constantly became gluggy & needed constant attention.

Very misleading product photos
The build quality is good, but you must know that it is VERY gray and not white and a little gray like in the photo. The other misleading thing is that it cannot stand up by itself on the side, though it can fold and lean. I found it unattractive and cumbersome, and the product seller was reluctant to allow a return. I had to throw it away.

Space doesnt work for most items
The cup holders dont have enough space around them to fit a normal cup, the plate ridges are too fat to fit anything other than a straight plate (cannot fit a pan). When the rack is leaning (using the little legs in the back) it doesnt push the water out of the bottom and the water ends up staying on the board for a couple of days till it dries up. Would not recommend this, although OXO generally have great products, just not this one.
