Good tool box , made of plastic but good storage on wheels , waterproof if working in rain, sturdy deep box's with compartments good latches to keep shut easy access, and can stack box's and lock them off on top of each other , wheels are handy to move around .sturdy

Purchase date: December 2010 "This toolbox is brilliant! We've had ours for 15 years, and it's still going strong. We mainly use it for all our decorating brushes and painting gear. There's loads of space inside, and it's really handy that the top bit comes off to become a separate toolbox. Even after taking a proper hammering for 15 years, both wheels are still perfectly on and working well. Just a heads-up, the bottom section isn't huge, so don't expect to cram in lots of big power tools."

I was a little tired of having 3 separate toolboxes for all my gear so I seen this and thought I'd give it a try as it wasn't an awful lot of money. First off it's got absolutely loads of room, no problems there. Designed very well. All the different compartments are great A couple of problems though: to fit in my car I normally have to separate the 2 halves and when I go to fit them together again it seems like the plastic has slightly lost its shape and they don't fit back together very easily. Once spent at least 5 minutes trying to get them back together. It's not a problem if the majority of the time it's all connected though. Second flaw is the handle would be better being a little longer. It occasionally hits the back of my feet when pulling along if I'm not paying enough attention. And lastly it would have been better if the bottom was wider. I've noticed it can be a little unstable if there is more tools in the top than the bottom and if it slightly rocks the wheels can then make it fully tip over. So, the flaws are not deal breakers. The good definitely outweigh the bad and really for the money this is an absolute bargain.

Perfect for the job. Nice and sturdy quality. Ideal size and a bonus that it is waterproof and can stack discretely. This is for a support group that meets once a week and is perfect for packing away our meeting things and to roll them out of the store cupboard to the room that we hire out at the community centre. Really fast an efficient service too!

Love it, exactly what I need to put all my tools and tubes in. Love the middle section for screws and nails aswell really handy and lots of space! High recommend.

These are lovely toolboxes and the wheels and handle design is intended to make them easily moveable - however, the handle height means you are stopped at a very uncomfortable angle to use them this way. The answer would be to increase the storage compartment depth so that the unit is taller, or if deeper is detrimental to how they can function for getting at and storing tools maybe add another storage layer to add height. The other option would be a handle that could be extended but I dislike this as a solution bearing in mind the weight of tools as it would make the handle rather weak and lead to breakage. I’m not an overly tall woman so it’s not as if this is likely to be a rare issue, I’m sure hundreds of users who have this box also they have to stoop in order to be able to “roll with it” In all other ways - (I bought x2) this is a great tool storage solution.

I’ve been using the Stanley Mobile Work Centre for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed.
