Timex Youth T790814E Easy Reader Pink Leather Strap Watch

Lovely classic looking watch. Daughter had asked for a digital one like her friends but we wanted to support her learning the time properly first. She has really taken to it, wearing it to school and telling us the time! Very cute. Had for approx 2 weeks so far and no issues. Not tested under water but fine for washing hands etc.Hope this helps others :)

This watch seems to have been excellent value for money given that the quality seems very good. It has a pretty, soft pink leather strap and a very clear face. The second hand is pink too and the backlit function means that it is easy to tell the time even in poor light. The only thing that would make it more attractive in my opinion would be for the case to be a little thinner.I bought it for my five year old granddaughter and it fits her wrist well without a need to make additional holes in the strap. It also fits an adult (female) wrist so would be good for much older girls too.Everyone who has seen it, including my granddaughter thinks it is a really lovely watch and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a classic design.

Have bought this watch for my 9 year old granddaughter for Xmas so don't know how she feels about it therefore i can't give it 5 stars but to me, it is worthy of 5 stars. So grown up for a little girl. I know she will love it because i know her. She is just learning to tell the time so i wanted a 'no nonsense' watch that looks good but also does it's job and i'm certain this one will. It looks like a very small adult watch. I am very pleased with it.

I bought this for my daughter's 8th birthday. It arrived very quickly and it looks very pretty. It says it has a back light but it doesn't. I'm not bothered about that as it was the small, clear, easy to read face and pink strap that I liked. The strap is very soft and has lots of holes so is perfect for children of all ages. I was going to give it 4 stars for saying it had a back light but really the watch is perfect without it. My daughter was thrilled with it and has worn it every day since her birthday!!

Really cute, simple watch.Comfortable to wear and pretty pink strap.Clear numbers for easy reading.It says Timex child, I am an adult and its perfect.

* * * U P D A T E * * *We unfortunately seem to have had some difficulties with this watch. This was my daughters first watch and she loved it. Unfortunately though, it disappeared at school....so my daughter saved up her pocket money and bought a replacement. She was gutted when within a week, the watch stopped working. We thought it might be the batteries so replaced them and it was only then that I read the other negative reviews about the watch and realised that we had the same problem. We are currently trying to send it back to Timex under guarantee but am not particularly hopeful. Its a great looking watch but be aware when purchasing that it obviously has its issues!!!Original review.....Bought as a gift for my daughters birthday. Bought this lovely little watch for my 7 year old Grand-daughter's birthday. She loves it because the face is so clear that it is easy to read and when you are learning to tell the time this is really important.An added bonus is the pink strap (as pink is her favourite colour) plus the fact the watch face lights up when you press the dial which is great when you are in bed and want to see what the time is.A real hit.

My daughter needed a sturdy and reliable watch for school, and didn't want a 'babyish' one (ie one with the Past and To sections coloured in), nor did she want Hello Kitty or One Direction. This was just about the ONLY watch on the market which fitted the bill. There is also a backlight when you press the winder knob, which isn't mentioned here, but is quite useful.

Love this little watch! I like analog watches far more then digital, and this is a watch that finally fits my child-sized wrists! lol The color is cute, and the quality is excellent. Price is definitely worth it! :)

muy buen reloj para niñ@s. Robusto y fuerte, pero a la vez en su justa medida con respecto al tamaño para la mano de una niña de 9 años como la mía. Lo de la iluminación con sólo oprimir el botón es un plus realmente muy bueno.

J'ai offert cette montre en janvier dernier à ma fille de 9 ans qui l'a adorée, elle ne s'en sépare plus.La montre est bien adaptée à sa poignée, les chiffres sont claires, elle est parfaite pour l'apprentissage et pour l'habituer à gérer son temps. En plus, à l'aide d'un petit bouton, le cadran s'éclaire ce qui est pratique si elle veut consulter sa montre dans le noir.Il y a 15 jours la montre est tombée en panne, je l'ai envoyée au service après vente de Timex qui m'en a retournée une neuve sous une semaine, rien à dire de ce côté non plus.
