Intex Explorer Pro Inflatable Boat

I was very dubious about this when I bought it with it being so cheap. We used it yesterday in the lake District and it was so much fun. Big enough for me and my young daughter to sit in and it is really very sturdy and held air well. Most definitely worth the money and we look forward to using it lots in the future. It folds up very small for easy transportation in the car.

A great boat for the kids. Managed 3 kids easily inside it. They were aged between 5 and 9. Wished we had purchased the oars with it as there arms weren’t long enough to really push. So definitely recommend getting them. Overall a bargain for the price.

Bought this to tow our camping gear behind a larger boat, worked out very well. This is a sturdy product with 3 separate parts to inflate. The first two are the floor and the inner ring which had to be inflated by mouth as we have no adapter (the normal imflation valve found on kid's toys) and then the larger hole for the main part which inflated easily. It was a bit of work to inflate the first two parts but fine as long as you're able for it. Towed along very well with quite a bit of kit, worked so well that we bought a bigger one for next time!

Good product for the price but had issue which did get resolved (see below). Three sections that need inflating but makes good size (2 person 196x102 version). OK for my 11 and 6 year old together but wouldn't cope with two 11 y/os in my opinion. Not tried on water yet as bought as a prop. My issue: I had a similar experience to another reviewer below. My original order arrived overnight. Product blew up fine. I was using it as a prop in a church talk so inflated it at 9am. By the time the service started at 10.30 the outside section was clearly leaking; another hour and it was obvious to all it was in need of air! Not the illustration I quite wanted!! By the next morning it was totally flat in the outer section. Reported this and got a prompt response to return damaged item and a new one came out overnight - no complaint here (other than the incurred hassle). Second version works fine.

I used this dinghy so my water-averse dog can join me on swims without getting his feet wet. The Pro 50 is big enough to take a backpack, clothes and boots, plus an 8kg Jack Russell. At £15 I wasn't sure what quality the boat would be but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that may not work out. The boat is good quality and the dog loved it so win win. I recommend putting a towel down to avoid any punctures but with three separate inflation chambers I think you would be unlucky to suffer a catastrophic puncture, especially with a small dog.

Just used this with all the grandchildren at the seaside, easy to inflate, the kids loved it, brilliant little boat at a great price.

This is quite an excellent little raft. It easily folds down to the size of the smallest compact tents, and when inflated provides plenty of room for myself and all my excessive amount of gear (which still all weighs less than 80 Kg). It's not very comfortable with a load of stuff, so if you were looking for something for more regular use, a larger two person raft with oars and a pump would provide a lot of luxury, but would require its own bag. With your (ideally waterproof) bags sitting on the sides (and the numerous available loops securing them in place with rope) you could even sleep comfortably on the raft, and your bags would provide a nice raised roof support for a tarpaulin. Note that there are two different sizes of inflation valve - the pump I had would only fit one of them, but it's pretty much just as easy to blow it up manually with your mouth, so you don't really need to carry a pump.

It takes ages to inflate (as you can imagine) with a foot operated pump. You’d want electric pump for this. When deflating, only one of the part has easy deflating vent but other two parts are via tiny hole which made it very hard to deflate. Not sure why they didn’t use the same sort of vent for all three parts. Also we found the boat loses its air gradually over time - not like a couple of days but a couple of hours. Very disappointed.

Il a est hyper bien la taille est parfaite et il est solide, mon fils (5 ans) s'amuse bien avec , prendre un gonfleur électrique c'est mieux.
