DIRECTIONS Hair Colour (4 Pots)

Love this, used it for years, I'm a hairdresser and I use it on myself, friends and family,you don't need a lot and lasts for weeks I'd say at least a month staying really bright and fades off gradually, when you re do your roots just use a comb and comb through any excess colour through your existing colour to refresh and brighten it up, highly recommend 😁

I brought 2 tubs of directions hair dye when dip dying my hair blue. I already have quite blonde hair which can be sort of brassy in some parts but also very light in others, and because I didn't really want to damage my hair , I did not bleach it before hand. The colour still came out. I mixed conditioner with the dye before I put it on my hair hoping that it might come out faster , but then I decided to dye back over the top of it without mixing it with conditioner as it was already fading quite fast, and I wanted it to last a bit longer than that. Because my hair is sort of yellow-blonde and not bleached white, when I applied Atlantic blue onto the ends, predictably it went more greeney. To fix this, I mixed it with directions violet so the very ends would be more blue. What I did was : 1) mixed Atlantic blue with very small amount of conditioner and put it all over where I wanted it dip dyed . I blended it up so my hair faded into the colour 2)mixed the pure Atlantic blue hair dye with the pure violet hair dye and put that about three quarters of the way up the part that I already dyed, then blended it . 3) I left this in for 3 hours (you definitely don't need to put it on for that long, I just left it anyway) , and then washed it out. The result was a darkish green-blue which faded into a really dark blue. I love the result so much. I don't know how long it will last but 2 years ago I did it with lagoon blue (only went a light green, would not recommend on unbleached blonde hair if you actually want a stand out blue) and it lasted 3 weeks and sort of stained and never really came out. Therefore I'm guessing that over 6 weeks when I leave this one in, it will fade but stain my hair (I'm fine with cutting it out anyway). Overall : very good hair dye, does not damage hair, shows up well on light blonde hair , lasts a long time, smells okay, good for blending and mixing.

Literally perfect. I was sceptical as not a brand I’d heard of before but there colour pay off is insane. I have a peekaboo colour with black on the top half and one pot did half my hair and my hair is longggg. So happy with it would recommend just be SUPER CAREFUL as it stains skin BAD

Great conditioning colour. Directions is always my go to due to its vibrancy and lasting effect, with I nice colour fade. To top up regularly, mix with your conditioner and use with each hair wash. Makes hair feel so healthy despite it being dyed due to its conditioning affects. If hair isn’t lighter naturally then lightening hair before is recommended to achieve full vibrancy. I have used directions many times and for many colours, I like the red with a pink undertone so it fades to a colour that can be easily covered or removed but I do find some red directions colours come out pink from the start. Everyone’s hair is different and so I’m sure people will have different results but this brand is good for keeping hair healthy and it’s easy to apply and or touch up.

Had to dye my roots last minute. I opted for semi permanent since my hair is very damaged atm.. had an event to attend, cancelled. Entire body bright blue, entire shower bright blue. The event has been scrubbing myself and my shower all day, worst of all the colour hasn’t even stuck. Roots are still exactly the same with little blue patches, I ordered ebony btw. 😭. Then had to buy an array of cleaning products for my shower… incase you suffer the same, I found face cleanser helped take a lot of staining off my skin!! x

Brilliant vivid colour

More dark pink than red and just ran for days. Even when sweating at the gym my forehead would run pinky red.

Die Farbe war richtig schönes lila und auch gut aufzutragen. Bei meiner Tochter kam das mit der Haltbarkeit gut hin. Meine Haare sind etwas anhänglicher, da hatte ich schon länger dran, dann mit interessanten Farbwechseln :D Aber ich würde und werde es wieder kaufen, schließlich muss ich auch die andren Lila Töne ausprobieren.

Tras probar con el fluorescent green y el fluorescent lime green, y quedar muy contenta con el resultado me fui al naranja, mi sorpresa fue que 1.no es naranja fluorescente, sino fluorescente verde que de normal parece naranja, el tinte no se te queda en el pelo, al segundo lavado ya te tira a verde, un desastre.

Tolle Farben, die bei mir sehr ergiebig sind da ich eher Mische zu Pastelltönen. Fast geruchsneutral und untereinander mischbar. Für mich perfekt!

This dye has amazing staying power! I bought it for my son months ago and the color is still vibrant with daily shampoos. When applying be careful, it stains everything!
