I am new to keto and bought the strips to see how well i was getting on. I started off with a trace amount and over the next few days i went up to number 4. As my body learnt to burn the ketones the numbers dropped back down. These strips were very easy to use with fast results. I dont measure every day now as i can feel i am in ketosis but will definitely keep a tub in so i can keep tabs occasionally and adjust my diet accordingly. A great tool for keto!

No, they are not as accurate as a blood test but they also don't cost anywhere near as much either. You get more than enough strips to monitor your ketosis and although the results given aren't as detailed as a blood test either; the colour on the strip changes and then you match it up with the colour code on the box or bottle, they do work. I, like other buyers, have experienced varied results where one minute you're in ketosis and the a few hours later you're completely out of it. I think that this is from using the mid-stream method, i.e. peeing directly onto the strip. Yes you will get results but i don't feel they can be trusted. The product itself suggests testing just the first urination of the day to get an accurate representation of your ketones but i think i have a better suggestion. you can use any times urination you want but instead of peeing directly onto the strip, catch some into a small container. Here, i do catch just the middle of the stream, letting the start and end go on its more natural journey down the toilet. Then i just put the strip into the container and hold it there for a approx 3 second, give it a little swirl whilst i do being careful not to touch the bottom or the sides of the actual container - don't want any contact contaminants. Instead of shaking the excess off, which i think dries it out before it can do its thing, i treat it more like a spoon in a cup of tea and give it a little knock on the edge. This leaves enough to be absorbed and tested yet not too much where it's just dripping. Leave it rest for approx 10 - 15 seconds and you'll get a better, more accurate result that way with a much deeper colour to compare to the colour guide. Look, they do work and yes it's a little more fiddly and doesn't give you exact information like a blood test and you might even get a dud now and then (i haven't since doing my method) but they are cheap and do the job. If you're really serious about keto and you have all the cookbooks, read all the articles and have decided that it's going to be a lifestyle and not just a few months diet to shed those extra layers; then you've already decided to get the blood tester. If you just want to know if you've reached ketosis and don't want to prick your finger every day or so - then these strips will do the job for you. If you don't like them then try another brand - they're all in the same price range but this product in particular does work and does what it promises. Can't say fairer than that. Plus it means for men you get to pee into a container and if you can't turn that into a game no matter what your age, then i'm afraid there's no help for you.

The product is great and very easy to use (obviously.. body function). The only problem for me is the paperwork - wow is it confusing. The colour are great but the descriptor below them - a value - why not NOT KETO one end and IN KETO at the other - simples. The attached leaflet is covering itself if a diabetic takes it or a non diabetic person so it has to put warnings - but if you are 16.0 it says STOP IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK MEDICAL HELP. Well yes if you are a diabetic, but no otherwise. As always the companies have to cover them selves for all eventualities, but coming from an amazon site which prides itself on being Simple and Straightforward, the descriptions are definitely NOT.

Seems to be very mixed reviews. I’m middle of the road. They do work, however so far I’ve had several that are defective in that they have had no testing tip and occasionally I’ve had absolutely no change, which I know isn’t correct, try another and it registers. Not sure at present if I’d purchase again or try another make. I’ll see how the remaining strips go. From a keto diet perspective I’m doing well and the strips help me check my food consumption daily.

These strips are definitely amazing and WORK!! After reading the many mixed reviews I ordered these to try. They do work! For the first couple of times I used two strips to see if there was any difference in the colour I saw and it was the same on both. On the days I had the upper allowance of my carb intake the sticks reflected this in the colour shown and then my days of low or no carbs it showed this as well. Definitely worth the money for an easy gauge of where you are sitting in your ketones range. Also a great alternative if you don't want to draw blood every other day - which I do not want to do!

The Just Fitter Ketone Test Strips are the best value I've found on Keto strips and they work great. I especially like the handy label included for keeping track of when I've opened a bottle the first time. I use them often enough that I'm not likely going to run past the best use lifetime but I also like knowing how long the bottle lasted. The best thing about using Keto test strips is seeing the immediate results of your dietary changes and knowing that those changes are actually creating tangible results. As you see the test color change and get darker it is very encouraging and helps you to stay motivated and on track. Once you reach your target level of ketosis, the test strips are vital for knowing how small adjustments in your carb intake affect your level. I use these strips constantly to keep myself aware of what my body is doing and also to stayed motivated. If I see my average level falling off (going down) I know I need to restrict the carbs more to get it back up. As a Type 2 Diabetic, it can be hard for me to get back into ketosis when I fall out and so I like to avoid that pitfall.

It’s worked fine every day as a general indicator that I’m in Ketosis. It can be difficult to tell the exact colour compared to the box, but it’s a good cheap way to see your hard work is paying off when it’s got any colour at all. An expensive digital meter is still required for a precise measurement though
