They work well until they faulty after couple of months. ALL of them get faulty. Had 15 at home and in less than 1 year 7 already faulty, clearly a problem on all the devices. They get faulty even without constant use. Waste of money on the long run and I'm phasing the brand out of my home.

I bought the TP-Link Tapo P110 Smart Plug 2-Pack mainly to monitor the electricity usage of a few appliances at home, and they’ve turned out to be much more useful than I expected. Setup & App - Setup was very straightforward using the Tapo app — plug in, connect to WiFi, and it was ready within a couple of minutes. The app walks you through everything clearly, and I didn’t need any technical knowledge. Energy Monitoring - The energy monitoring feature is the standout for me. You can see real-time power usage as well as daily and monthly stats, which makes it surprisingly easy to spot which devices are using more electricity than expected. Smart Features - Scheduling and timers work reliably, and the “Away Mode” is a nice touch for making lights switch on and off when you’re not home. Voice control with Google Assistant also worked straight away without any issues. Build Quality - The plugs feel solid and don’t block neighbouring sockets on my extension lead, which was something I was worried about. Things to be aware of - Works on 2.4GHz WiFi only (common for smart devices, but worth knowing). The energy data is informative but doesn’t replace a dedicated smart meter for full-house tracking. Overall For the price, these are excellent smart plugs — easy to use, reliable, and the energy monitoring alone makes them worth it. I’ll probably buy more for other rooms.

Very useful device with excellent Ap. Problem setting up at first as WiFi Router is 5gh and the Smart Plug will only connect to 2.5gh. Therefore one will need to split between both and enter this by editing in your internet account and Router set up in order to connect. Having done so, both plugs are now functioning perfectly.

I did have to update the firmware during setup, and it’s a good idea to disable automatic updates if you want to control when these changes happen.
