Sizzix Stencil & Stamp Craft Cardmaking | 664896 Tools, Mulitcolour

So the product box was open and the pieces were all mixed up in a big shipping box. Initially I couldn't find all the pieces and started a return. (Super irritated! Meant for making Christmas cards.) Then when I cut the shipping box up I found the missing parts under the bottom flap. So after all that, I got curious to see if this thing would work. I played around with it and it does. I mean I don't know a lot past basic stamping and stenciling, so this is my opinion without any comparison. But this turned out well. It made both much easier and more precise. Able to lay down multiple layers of colors with no deviation. My stamps fell off the board a few times but I think that's an adhesion issue. This is nice and big for full size page projects. The stencil holder worked ok with some tape. I think I will check out the brand stencils since they would be easier to use.

There are several brands of similar stamp placement tools on the market. This one also holds and positions stencils. The platform is larger then a regular stamp placement so it can accomodate large stamps and also large stencils. I has a sticky paper on the platform. It comes with only one sticky paper but additional ones can be purchased. They last a long time. Sizzix stencils come with holes on the edge in the right place to clip into the stencil holder. if you have non-sissix stencils you can purchase adaptors that stick onto the edge to give. you the holes needed to clip on. It's a nice system.

This product is wonderful if you are stamper, there’s no boards around so you can use any size paper. It’s repositionable so you can put it wherever you want over and over again. The size platform is bigger than a 8 1/2 x 11 Paper this is a great product. I just was introduced to it. Wish I would’ve had it when I first came out looking forward to using the accessory for reef Making.

Saw this on the Sizzix site...watched a video on how to use it. Amazon had a better price than available on Sizzix. So glad I bought it from Amazon. Absolutely LOVE using it. I have another brand stamping tool but rarely use it now since this can be used for stamping and stenciling without moving my cards around. Definitely worth the purchase!

Fairly new to stamping but I think if it had a magnetic dry erase backing with the little pushdown rubber feet instead of the sticky paper it would be perfect. Some areas aren't connecting to leave an impression, and I am rolling pressure. But as I said, I am new at it. Sure it takes time and finesse.It is well made and the size is great for bigger projects. I especially like the hinge feature. Just not a fan of that sticky paper. Cost and appearance wise to replace, not a fan. I may modify with a magnetic sheet with a dry erase face.Trying to find the perfect hinged stamping platform is a little like Goldielocks & the three bears. This one is too small this one is too big this one is the right size but it isn't hinged or magnetic or maybe sticky is your thing.I have two others platforms a tiny one and a good card sized one square. But they required coordination & dexterity to get them in the pins, without losing grip of the plate prematurely.Hope this helps in your decision making.

It came in great new condition. I like that I can remove the lid, turn it over & sent it down on top of base to put ink on the stamp, if I don't want to open sideways. When I do open it side ways, I flip lid to my right, since I'm right handed it's easier to ink the stamp that is stuck on the lid. I like how the sticky base holds my paper in place. I can also use it for stenciling, holding everything in place. Go ahead and buy a pack of the sticky sheets because you must replace them once in a while. They don't wash. After they no longer hold, you need to replace. It is very easy.

Love this stencil and stamp tool! This does a great job aligning layering stencils and the size is perfect for larger stencils and stamps. I bought this because of Stacey Parks's how to videos with Sizzix. This is better than anything else on the market.

Leider war das Sizzix Stamp & Spin Tool nicht mit meiner alten (jahrelang in Benutzung) Tim Holtz Platform kompatibel.Also musste die neue Plattform her.Ganz klare Vorteile sind die Größe (A4), die fehlenden erhöhten Ränder (wenn das zu stempelnde Papier größer ist, gibtes keine Dellen) und das Stamp & Spin Zubehör. Nachteil ist meiner Meinung nach, das die Plattform nicht mehr magnetisch ist.Die leicht klebende Folie für die Oberfläche ist zwar super, um Papier oder Schablonen auf einer Stelle zu fixieren, schaut aber leicht unsauber aus und muss immer nachgekauft werden.Die rutschfeste Unterseite und die abnehmbare Klappe sind vergleichbar mit der Tim Holtz Plattform.Den Schablonenadapter habe ich noch nicht getestet, kann also dazu nichts sagenIst der Original Preis gerechtfertigt? Nun, Sizzix ist nicht gerade eine günstige Marke, deswegen hab ich zugeschlagen, als es im Angebot war.Würde ich die Platform weiter empfehlen? Definitiv ja, denn wer stempelt, oder mit Schablonen arbeitet und saubere Ergebnisse erreichen will, kommt an einer Stempelplattform nicht vorbei und die Sizzix bietet eine stabile Version davon,die mit dem Stamp & Spin Zubehör noch erweitert werden kann.
