A good starter marble run set
I hesitated before purchasing because some reviews claimed it's a small set. But since this is my son's first marble run set and we are constantly running out of toy storage space, I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a good starter marble run set. The parts are colorful. Despite of looking on the flimsy side, they seem durable enough to have survived the first week of being played and "cleaned up" by a 3yo boy, without any broken parts yet. The marble tracks are small but the included marbles (30 of them) fit perfectly on them. Actually the marbles are the perfect size for his hands and he has found multiple use for them already. Setting up the tracks is challenging, though. But it was fun. Maybe more fun for the person actually did the setting-up, a.k.a., me.

My kids love it
My kids love it, the marbles are small not what Iโm used to from years ago. Itโs appropriate for kids from 3 years, kids can be creative and build whatever they want.

Colorful and fun just a bit flimsy
Ok my son is 4 yrs 2 mos old, he usually annihilates all toys however, I think because of how flimsy it is and how long it took me to put it together due to picture instructions only showing 1 side/1 angle of marble run hes not trying to have to wait again lol. I originally put it together at the kitchen table and needed to move it to his table and discovered how easy the pieces slide off of eachother, not like legos that snap into eachother and hold, no these pieces come off easy unless of course you grab it from the bottom pieces. So I would suggest assembling it on like a piece of cardboard so you can easily move it. The marble run over all does exactly what it's supposed to do, the wheels in his head were definitely turning because I could see it in his eyes. The price is fair, I wasnt trying to spend a whole lot on a toy I knew would interest him a couple minutes every once in a while. The colors are bright, the spinners, wheels, loop and windy track are a lot of fun to watch. The marbles are smaller than the typical marble, but you get a lot of them. I only put 5 marbles on the run because at the top of each run there is a stopper and it holds 1 marble per run, plus I would have an easier time keeping my eye on making sure marbles didnt get lost across the room only to get sucked up by the vacuum. They are clear with a little red and or yellow in the center, I have cranberry colored carpet and it's really hard to spot the little marble. Theres 1 part of the run where the marble doesnt fall down it lingers next to the hole and I believe it's due to an error in assembly but again the instructions are of a picture from 1 angle every so many steps. At the end of the day I am glad I purchased it, it does hold his interest for a min or 2, putting it together and looking for lost marbles suck, the price is not bad and has a lot of wheels, spinners, etc.

You get what you pay for, but that's not necessarily a bad thing
I used to be a children's librarian in Vermont, and I LOVED our marble run. It was tall, sturdy, and had enough pieces that I could EASILY build a 6 or even 7 foot track with multiple towers. Maybe my biggest hang up on this item is that that's where my expectations were at when I purchased this. I spent about $20 on this marble run (I think the price has increased $1 or $2 since then) post-holidays December 2020. I probably should have known better than to expect a 7 foot masterpiece for $20. That being said, getting what you pay for isn't terrible. The pieces are thin but sturdy enough- I received one broken tube piece in my kit. There's also one tube piece that at first I thought was broken but is maybe just intended to be a window tube piece, because the breakage is clean and at least looks intentional. However, this piece is also unusable because however they cut it made the connection all messed up so it doesn't fit with any other tube piece. So 2 broken tube pieces out of 52, not too bad. Other pieces included are as shown in the item listing EXCEPT the little yellow accessory pieces, like the wheels and turners. Those come in their own separate bag, and each accessory only fits on to one specific slide piece each, but good luck figuring out which ones- the instructions include no words, just some blurry pictures of completed maze set ups, so you have to figure out which accessories connect to which kind of tube based on those pictures. Don't worry, I got it eventually, but any sort of lay out of included pieces probably should have included it. The highest (reasonably sturdy) run is maybe 3 feet tall, tops. Realistically, I've built a two foot tall run and that seems to be a better breaking point for how tall it can be before the marbles start getting stuck because the tower is moving around too much. Lastly, I have no iea why the listing has a picture of a baby on it, because these marbles are TINY. Like, realistically, no one under the age of like 6 or 7 should be playing with these, until the child is old enough to NEVER stick anything that isn't food in their mouths. These marbles are even tinier than regular ones and I can imagine pose an excessive choking risk. The box states ages 4 and up but even with vigilantly watching a child like a hawk, these will pose a SIGNIFICANT CHOKING RISK until they are well and fully into the stage of not sticking toys in their mouths (or their noses, for that matter- these are also small enough that a determined child could absolutely get them in their nostrils, no matter how small). Aaaaaall of that negativity having been said- I think you also get a decent amount for what you pay for, despite it's short comings, admittedly maybe against the high standards I had unwittingly set for myself. Once you do get the pieces together, they're sturdy and snug enough that the marbles pass through the tubs without getting stuck (as noted above, some less sturdy structures tend to make my marbles get stuck in the slides and some other accessories) and you can easily build a 2-foot tower without a problem. The tubes and accessories connect well but take apart easily. Plenty of marbles that you don't need to worry if you lose a couple (unless you have animals or children that may choke on them). Comes in a large box with pieces originally all in separate pouches but the box is plenty big enough to store them all in once the bags are open. Marbles come split into two dime bags. All in all, you get your $20's worth, which is both a bad and a good thing.

Fun playtime for the kids!!
My son loves the marble run from Peppa Pig so I ordered this for him and he hasn't stopped playing with it!! ๐๐ It was easy to put together and you can build different runs. I'm thinking of getting another one so I can add on to it. Love it!
