I purchased the VTECH 5" HD baby monitor to replace my overpriced and underperforming Owlet Cam, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The camera quality is excellent, providing a crisp HD image. It's packed with features like noise, motion, and temperature alerts, which work reliably without constantly giving false alarms. It is also a direct secure link between the cam and monitor unlike expensive wifi / app based options, which are more susceptible to hacking. The temperature sensor is spot-on, which is a pleasant surprise compared to some of the more expensive options that can’t even get that right. It also comes with options to play white noise or lullabies, a great touch for soothing the baby. One of my favorite features is the color indicator from green to red based on ambient sound, making it easy to glance and check on noise levels. Overall, this monitor offers way more value than its price tag suggests. While there are more expensive monitors out there, this is proof that higher cost doesn’t mean better quality. The VTECH monitor blows the competition out of the water—especially the Owlet Cam, which turned out to be nothing more than expensive garbage. Highly recommend this monitor if you're looking for reliability and great functionality!

I’ve been using the VTech VM928HD 5” Baby Monitor, and it has exceeded my expectations! The video quality is crystal clear, even in low light, making it easy to keep an eye on my little one. The 5-inch screen provides a great view, and the battery life is amazing—it lasts much longer than other monitors I’ve tried. The signal is strong, the setup is simple, and the monitor is reliable with no lag. Overall, this is a high-quality, user-friendly baby monitor that I highly recommend to any parent!

On my second one of these in 6 months. The first froze in the middle of the night and I didn’t know it . When I woke up I tried turning it off and the entire thing was frozen and shot. The antenna on that one had also come lose. Now onto my second one that I’ve probably had for 3 months, the lock stand broke off and now the battery is shot - says it’s dead after a night of charging and needs to be plugged in 24/7. This is one of the only non WiFi monitors I could find that worked well in an old house with thick walls. I can’t believe I now need to spend more money on a new monitor - will not be buying this one for the 3rd time.

I’m really impressed with the quality of this monitor for the price. I had one that cost slightly more with my oldest child and it was not near this quality. I love that you can move the camera with the monitor and the zoom feature is great for that middle of the night anxiety of “Are they still breathing?”. I just zoom in all the way and I can see their little chest rise and fall without having to get up and disturb them. Also love that it tells you the room temperature. My baby ended up in the hospital for hypothermia due to being premature and this has helped me regulate the room temp better.

I bought this in May - by December the battery life is significantly shorter. It will be on the charger all day, I’ll take it off and within 10 minutes it will say it has 1 bar or start beeping to alert it’s almost completely dead. Some days, it holds a charger as normal. The battery sounds loose inside and rattles. It was relatively cheap so it’s served its purpose I suppose. The zoom in and camera adjustment work well so it was still worth the money but I had hoped for longer use out of it.

I previously had a VTEC monitor where the display was smaller and did not have such a clear view as this one. I wish I would’ve found this one in the first place. Controls are easy to navigate very clear Imaging on the screen easy to set up pick up Great sound, and has not lost its signal anywhere in my house even when I go from one floor to the other. This is a great purchase would absolutely recommend and buy again.

Super clear and pretty far range. I really liked the wall-mountable feature. The momma screen also had a pretty long battery life with every charge, until.................. After 6 months the battery stopped working, now I can only use it if it's plugged in to the wall :( Very, very sad - what use does it have if I cannot walk around my house? Battery life is very important to me so this review just lost 2 stars but if you need something super clear and don't mind having to always plug in - then this is a good option for you.

I had a hard time trying to decide with monitor to buy. After a lot of debating I decided to get this one . I made the perfect choice! The screen is beautifully designed. There’s a night mode, shows temperatures, and you’re able to watch baby from other rooms. My only issue is that it makes a loud noise when both are together when antennas are up but other than that the product is perfect!

Muy buena cámara, tanto de día como de noche se ve muy clara la imagen, además que si el bebé se mueve mientras duerme, lo puedes seguir ya que la cámara tiene movimiento. Muy recomendada.

منتج ممتاز جدا، وهو النسخة المحدثة يحتوي على شاشة مقاس خمسة انشات، كبيرة وواضحة وملونة وايضا يحتوي على كاميرا ذات تصوير واضح اعتقد ٧٢٠ دقتها بالنسبة للمدى: مداها كبير، يعني ممكن توصل لمسافة ١٥ متر ويمكن أكثر التصوير الليلي فيها للأمانة ممتاز وواضح فيها ميكرفون بحيث تقدر تتكلم مع الطفل وانت بغرفة ثانية وتقدر أيضاً تسمع الطفل بوضوح وانت بغرفة ثانية فيها حساس للصوت وحساس للحركة يعطيك إنذار لو تحرك الطفل وهو نايم أو اصدر صوت فيها حساس درجة حرارة، تقدر تحط الحد الأقصى والحد الأدنى لدرجة الحرارة بحيث لو تم تجاوزهم يعطيك إنذار الكاميرا نفسها تقدر تتحكم فيها وتحركها يمين ويسار وفوق وتحت، بصراحة الميزة هذه رهيبة جدا الكاميرا فيها سماعات بحيث تقدر من داخل الشاشة تعطي أوامر بتشغيل موسيقى للطفل الشاشة قابلة للشحن ويمتد شحنها لحوالي سبع ساعات او اكثر من التشغيل المتواصل ولكن الكاميرا غير قابلة للشحن، يتم توصيلها بالكهرباء فقط أفياش الكهرباء تأتي بالنظام الأمريكي، انصحك تشتري معها أفياش تناسب نظام دولتك مجملاً: انصح بها وبشدة، جودتها عالية جداً

Excelente compra. Habíamos adquirido otro modelo de vtech por el mismo precio y fue una decepción. Compramos este y nos funciona perfecto. La pantalla tiene muy buena definición, la resolución de la cámara es muy buena, capta muy bien los sonidos y tiene buen volumen. Es muy práctico y funcional utilizar los giros y zoom de la cámara. Recomendado!!!

Less then a year in the monitor has completely broken. The stand broke off about 4 months. Then something heavy inside started sliding around when it was tilted from side to side. At about 9 months the antenna started to come off. At 10 months the antenna disconnected accept for the wire and now it no longer receives a single from the camera. It's very disappointing it was not made to be more long lasting.
