Waffle Plates Only for Cuisinart Griddler GR-4N, GR-5B, GR-6 and GRID-8N Series, Nonstick Coating Baking Waffle Plates by Gvode

Fits our Cuisinart Griddler perfectly and easily! We had a small single waffle maker that was just OK and took forever to make a handful of waffles, and we finally upgraded to these plates - a great purchase! Waffles have turned out evenly cooked and an ideal size. Especially like the centering, which coincidnetally allows a bit of extra space in event we pour too much batter in. Price was a bit high but acceptable, esp compared to Cuisinart plates. There are a couple "sharp" edges on the heating element side that I feel could've been more rounded than pokey.

These are a perfect fit for my Cuisinart Griddler. I sprayed with Pam before pouring the batter. They waffle didn't stick, came out perfectly. Golden and delicious! Very easy to clean with a soapy dish sponge. I definitely recommend these!

It doesn’t fit perfectly, though it does work, but it’s only usable on one side( rather than reversible) and the plates are much heavier and somewhat awkward compared to the other plates, which are double sided that came with the smokeless griller. Maybe there wasn’t room for making it double sided since the waffles are deeper than the flat grill marks or flat griddle marks that it came with. I was disappointed that due to the design, it isn’t a flat surface at all and there’s no adjustment to make it even somewhat flat, so everything you pour onto it goes straight back to the back grease trap so that’s pretty frustrating. At least, that happens less with the waffle plates ( because of the deeper grooves), than the grill and griddle the griller came with , so any pouring batter for making pancakes is a serious effort/ chore. There is only a choice to make the slant deeper, but not less slanted on the smokeless griller. I have to do my best and keep trying to find something that’s the correct height to try to prop up the back to level the griller just to prevent half my batter pooling into the grease catcher in back. Very frustrating!!

The plates arrived dirty so I wrote a 1-star review. I knew I was purchasing used plates but I still expected them to arrive clean. The company then contacted me, apologized, and offered me a full refund. I was surprised and pleased! I’ve tried out the plates using Martha Stewart’s Buttermilk waffle recipe and they turned out great! The waffles didn’t stick and the cooking was nice and even. I definitely recommend!

I wish I could give it a lower star than 1! It is absolutely not a nonstick! I tried it four time and every time it was a disaster! My old waffle maker never had this problem. The only reason I thought to buy this one was because of its removable plates. But I regret big time. Its been very long since I bought so I cannot even return this now. I absolutely hate it.
