Is it worth getting one of these for the cxa81? Or does the built in Bluetooth on the cxa81 mean this isn’t needed

I think the bluetooth of cxa81 is better because it has Aptx HD. The BT100 is only Aptx.

After i pair ir initially with my device. will it connect automatically everytime i turn the amplifier (cxa60) on the bluetooth input?

yes, it will always connect to the last device that was connected to the amplifier.

How to stop the hum from this device?

I do not use that. I think I am using apple carplay with the streamer. Usually the humming is associated with the turntable. Is everything grounded and plugged into the same outlet? Sorry I could not offer anything more. Call world wide stereo. They have some very helpful techs.

Will this work with a Pioneer receiver?

I'm not sure but I think that this product is used to work only with Cambridge Audio receivers.
