I always have a Halloween event or two that pops up that I don’t have a costume for. This referee costume is a great solve for that. All you need is a pair of black pants and maybe a hat and you are ready to go. I ordered it in a XXL to ensure that it would be big enough to layer over a long sleeve shirt in case it’s chilly out. The shirt comes with a silver whistle on a black cord and both yellow and red penalty flags. The shirt is soft and seems to be well made – not paper thin. At $19.99, I think this is a good deal. There seems to be similar items available cheaper, but not all of those include the whistle and penalty flags. I would recommend this item.

After one wash and dry shirt didn't shrink.

I picked this as more of a costume for my husband, and not so that he could officially referee and for that, I think this is just fine. The fabric quality is acceptable and is great for Halloween or costume parties. Ours came with flags, referee shirt and a whistle, so he can really make around the house calls. I got him a large, and it fit perfectly. It’s a zip collar, so it saves time versus dealing with those pesky buttons.

This listing makes this sound like some sort of costume. I guess you could use it as that, but you can certainly use it as a “real” referee shirt. I use it in a school setting and it works for our occasional needs. A whistle and two flags are also included. This set is made in China and being sold by Chinese company on Amazon. At the current price of twenty-four bucks I’m sure it is well over twice the price it should be. If you look around you will find other less expensive options.

This shirt fits as expected. It is lightweight and very comfortable.

The yellow and red flags were not in our order. We intentionally bought this package because it had the flags in it. Very disappointed. Now our son won’t have them for his first refereeing game tomorrow because it’s too late to find one or get it delivered.

This is a very light weight, nylon feel shirt Perfect for an easy costume, (My boys dressed up as a soccer and football player, so i had to find a multi-sport solution!) That being said, for a rec league this would work just fine. It comes with 2 flags that are basicaly the real deal, with rubber ball weights, as well as a working whistle to boot! Overall a fine price, fits as expected (At 5'10'' 175 i wore a medium), and a great set!
