For the most part it works well but you can definitely tell it was a low cost. Because of its high use, some of the buttons flipped so it didn’t open. We were able to figure it out but just be careful and maybe check every so often.

I bought one of these back sometime around 2016. It served it's purpose well. My child was younger and kept losing his key at school. I tried the electronic door knob and well it's a battery, so it was more trouble than it was worth. I bought this one to replace the previous one because although it still worked I was having a hard time getting it open. I only replaced the front plate! I did not have to replace the existing base that was already screwed in to the pillar of the porch. It's very sturdy, held up well in the elements (even without using that rubber cover that came with it).

3-Stars in an attempt towards neutrality...overall, seemingly a decent product/solution, though it was NOT mounted, used or given the test of time - why? - because it did NOT work for us, specifically for these 2 reasons. First, not easy to "grasp/hold" on important areas to comfortably and thus easily OPEN and CLOSE the lockbox. Second, user actually MUST put in the code for both, OPENING and then CLOSING the lockbox. It CANNOT and WILL NOT "close/lock", unless you put in the code first, then close/lock....so the steps are, CODE in order to OPEN it up for access to whatever is inside, then once again must have CODE in order to CLOSE it up for security. Thus, not the actions we prefer to take and have since returned this product as a result.

6 months in the key safe buttons don’t open the box. Multiple code inputs before it will release . This is the 2nd one of these , the 1st on lasted longer but did the same thing . Useless !

I returned it as it was too complicated for me to det the code.

La caja es sólida, sin embargo la tapa no tiene bisagra por lo que se complica la operación a una mano, también algo importante es que no puedes poner números repetidos en ña combinación por ejemplo no pudes poner 4411 todos los números deben ser diferentes, otra desventaja es que si pones 1234 de combinación funciona con 4321, 3214, 2314 etc osea el orden de los números no importa la caja abrirá lo que reduce la seguridad bastante, tal vez no la compraría otra vez pero esta hecha de materiales sólidos.

Es un excelente equipo para lo que es, el tema es que es para llaves de tamaño americano, donde todas son de 2" de largo aproximadamente, Mexico como en muchas cosas tiene un mix de llaves que se usan y la de 5" estilo europeo es muy comun para pasadores en puertas de herreria. Esto hace que un grupo de llaves que lleva una de estas llaves largas de 1 o 4 lados no cabe en el espacio. Un punto importante a considerar.
