Plastic 4.6 inch Sofa Legs, 4 Pack Tapered Sofa/Couch/Chair Legs with M8 Thread Screws, Replacement Furniture Legs

The legs are very solidly made and came for a very good price. It came with the mounting plate and screws, and was packaged well so that the metal pieces did not scratch the plastic feet during shipping, even in an envelope filled with 2 sets. While not an exact color match, the dark finish still works very well with the Ikea Kallax brown-black drawers. The drill bits I used to pilot drill into the Kallax shelf was *3/32" for the wood screws that attach the plate, and 5/16" for the machine screw in the leg that passes up into the shelf. We flipped the shelf over and pushed it into place with no give in the legs. They are firmly planted even in the hollow particle board that makes up the shelf structure. Update 1/5/2020: I bought 4 more sets for 4 additional shelves and they are all the same construction/quality with one minor exception - the screw coming out of the leg can be slightly off center on some legs, which you mainly only notice when you screw it into the mounting plate. It is not far off enough to make a difference on my setup especially since I put the legs inward from the front face by 1", but thought it was worth mentioning in case your setup requires exactness. Again, no other variances in quality from the first two sets I bought and happy the quality is consistent! *Also if you are concerned with the mounting plates' screws sitting firm in cheap particle board furniture, I recommend a 1/16" drill bit for the pilot hole instead of 3/32". I didn't use 1/16" on mine, but I had to be careful to stop my screwdriver when the screw was all the way in because it would continue to spin and strip out the hole if I wasn't cautious. That said, each plate and leg sits firmly in my Ikea particle board shelves.

One of my ikea ecktorp legs snapped during our move, which fully broke off the screw for the leg. This 6” leg is a perfect match for the screw size and height. The width is more narrow than the IKEA leg (pictured), but the couch is slip-covered and goes fully over the legs anyway, so no one will ever notice or see it. Great solution and an easy fix. I saw someone mention the newer model Ektorp leg is taller, so I would just measure if you’re unsure. Ours was manufactured prior to 2020, not sure the exact year since it was 2nd hand.

I wanted to convert my swivel rocker to a legged chair and looked at several sets of legs on Amazon. I almost didn't look at these legs because the price was so low. They had great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. They were easy to install and they look fantastic!! Great price, great product and very sturdy. The chair looks great!

These legs were just what I was looking for to raise up my display cases but the problem is that I needed 4 packages and the website limits the quantity you are allowed to purchase to 3 packages. Thus I had to place a separate order for the 4th set of legs which, I'm still waiting for the 4th package to be shipped so that the work can be completed. My fingers are crossed that they will even show up. I get that you don't want someone to buy all your stock but a limit of 3 packages is quite small and has put my project on hold and is somewhat frustrating. But to be clear the product indeed was what I was looking for and the price was great.

When I first ordered these I was a little disappointed because one of the metal plates did not have the treads and wasn't able to be used. I was fully refunded for the item and ordered again without any issues. I followed DM Stafford's instructions for install. I used a 1/16" drill bit for the pilot hole for the 4 screws, and a 5/16" for the machine screw in the leg that passes up into the shelf. Works great. Had no issues. Perfect price. It was great that the product came with metal plates, screws, legs, and felt pads to avoid scratching the floor. Plates alone could have cost more than this kit. Highly recommend.

These legs are strong with a common sense design for sturdiness. Comes with four metal mounting brackets that easily screws into the wooden bottom. The pegs scew into the metal bracket ans are ultra strong compared to other ones with a cheap little insert. Much better than the cheap originals that just screwed into the wood-and didnt last. Seller was great too. Fast shipping. Overall, excellent kit

I think these legs will work out. We put them on 2 couches in our business showroom to replace casters which made the couches unstable. I'll be better able to evaluate after we use the couches now for a few weeks. They appear sturdy, and the hardware is good. I'm only giving 3 stars because one leg broke while being installed. The "fins" holding the bolt broke. So, I ended up buying another set, just to get that one replacement. I hope other legs do not break in the same way during use.
