This seems to work well. I use it to connect my dog's collar with the harness. Hopefully, I never have to see how well it really works. Does seem sturdy.

Does what it should. An extra level of security incase an escape artist dog manages to get free from their harness! Seems well made . My dog is smaller and it’s large enough to work for her, I’d suggest measuring the distance between your dogs collar and the loop on their harness before buying

I never write reviews but I didn’t see any other for this product, so here’s my thoughts. I have two reactive dogs, 50 & 55 lbs. pit border mixes. We have harnesses and collars, they are both able to slip out of any collar (and they do fit properly), and they are both extremely strong so we’ve had leashes and other equipment snap on us before. They walk better on their collars but we never wanted to incase they slipped out for safety reasons. The way we set ours up is put their harness on, then their collar, then put the main leash clip on the collar ring. With the backup strap we take one end and connect to the harness and the other to the square connector for the clip on the leash itself. What we’ve noticed is; it’s harder for them (they haven’t since we started using this) to slip out of the collars because they can’t flip around and worm out of it, I feel more confident that if the equipment fails everyone will be safe, and they are not pulling so hard and walking better. The only comment I have is, the clips are not very large. When these wear down I will be replacing them asap. I feel like 60 lbs. depending on the animals strength is about the limit. We have had several incidents in which they’ve pulled extremely hard and they held up great but I would use your best judgment when purchasing based on your individual animal for safety. I attached a picture of our standard leash clip and the clip of the backup strap (black clip is backup strap, bronze clip is standard leash)

This safety clip is a must have if you use a harness for your dog. I had no idea how easily a dog could slip out of a harness until it happened to my dog. It was while I was walking him. He got his leash wrapped around a street sign and pulled himself backwards through the harness. Thankfully, I managed to grab him before he got too far. But to make sure something like that never happens again, I’ll be using the safety clip to attach his leash to his collar from now on. That way, if he does manage to back out of his harness again, I know at least the safety clip will still be attached to his collar and keep him from running off. This safety clip also looks to be well built and is the perfect size for my small 15 pound dog.

Bought as a fail safe. With how she shakes, she can unclip her prong collar. Easily connects her regular collar to her NTR heavy duty leash (with a lockable carabiner clip). Ran this by a trainer to make sure I connected it properly, this was the EXACT SAME ONE that trainer pulled out to show us. So we definitely bought a good one if trainers use this very one. And all things considered, definitely worth the price. It does shorten which makes it not be as loose between connection points. Overall, very happy. It does make it an extra step getting equipment on but totally worth it.

This is good for anyone with a large dog that likes to pull when they walk. I use this as a backup encase he breaks the pronge collar. I also have a harness on him and use this to attach the 2 together.

Purchased this to attach dog harness to dog belt assembly in backseat of my car. It’s a perfect fit keeps my dog safe gives her enough room to sit up and stand up, but not go too far.. keep your dog safe in the car

I use this safety tool attaching the prong collar to my pup’s ”house” collar. This is to make sure that even if the prong opens, I would still holding my pup by the leash so I don’t lose him 🙏🏻
