Very convenient keyboard
Great customer support. Best keyboard I had. Typed really well vs others and helped me type faster with less typos. It has a good weight to it, and the mouse track pad works well. Battery life is fine. The backlight gave way recently but support was on hand to sort. Whilst light worked it was perfect for night time work on laptop. Size is also just right - not too big so can be carried easily in a backpack but not too small that typing is ever an issue. Bluetooth connectivity really easy 10/10

Excellent Value for Money
I've been using this for over 2 years now. It's a backup keyboard for my gaming PC. As such it doesn't get treated particularly well, it's normally kicking around on the floor beside my simracing rig. Despite this it has never let me down. Having the keyboard and a trackpad is a godsend for when you need a mouse for navigation but not control and need to save space. It's light, the bluetooth connects first time every time. The battery is great, I think i've had to charge it a handful of times in 2yrs. No bloatwear or drivers. For under £50 you can't beat it.

[Updated 05.24] Not disappointed....until it stopped charging...!
[Update 05/24] After contacting the seller to claim on my 2 year warranty, initially they said they would replace the item (no return needed) but as soon as I mentioned I didn't live in the UK (I'm in the EU) they simply blanked me, no replies to my subsequent messages, this is not acceptable, even if it is the case, the warranty only applies to UK based items, they could have said that. Even if they had sent a replacement, as many others have already reported, the replacements also often fail so not much point unless you are happy to have to continually replace the item. I contacted Amazon CS in the end who kindly refunded me for the item. Too bad as is it's a nice keyboard but fatally let down by it's battery and charging, which was never great. I now have a similar item that I got from Aliexpress for just over 20 Euros with wireless dongle (more reliable) and which arrived in 6 days! It's not a nice in function as the Arteck or UK layout but it's a compromise I'll have to live with! -- [Update 04.24] After just over a year of satisfactory use and I am still happy with it overall, my keyboard has now succumbed to what many others have also reported here (check the 1 star reviews): battery charging was always slow and battery life not great, but now it won't charge at all. Let's see what Arteck can do, tricky as I bought in the UK but live in the EU....I fear the hunt for decent wireless keyboard with track pad and back light goes on, and very few alternatives are available out there... -- [Original review]>> After considerable global search for a wireless keyboard+touchpad *with* back-light and UK layout to supersede my Logitech K400, this one was pretty much top of the (very short) list, so I took the opportunity to pick up one of them when visiting the UK (seems not so easy to source equivalent models in other countries/languages?). Initial impressions: - Sturdy feel - well built - Key feel - reassuringly positive, not to light or flimsy - Great range of colours and brightness control - Compact but "full size" layout - Good size touchpad - not too large or small - Back lights power off automatically after a short timeout, only reactivating on key-press (not touchpad or L/R button) Minor negatives: - Well it is Bluetooth so that will always add some variations in how well your keyboard connects to your devices, so far for me it's been mainly ok (some stuttering when streaming video and listening via BT earbuds, YMMV depending on your host system/device..) - On wake from suspend, sometimes I have had to power on and off a couple of times before regain control of input - Small bezel, so if you are a WFH sofa warrior who likes to use the keyboard on your lap, you will likely grab the edge of the touchpad or buttons when picking it up - No dedicated multimedia keys (vol controls are allocated as standard to the F1-3 keys) - Matte plastic finish - prone to greasy finger staining - On my Ubuntu 22.04 the natural scrolling only works 2 finger moving the content rather then viewpoint - Back lights - could be dimmer for the key edges and can clearly see the main LEDs between Ctrl+Fn and Alt+Space but not overbearing unlike some other cheapo TV box type mini keyboards Battery life I can't comment on yet but it's unlikely to be an issue unless you happen to be without your USB C cable for more than a day or two I have not yet used this keyboard for long so initial impressions may change over time but for now - recommended!

A brilliant bluetooth keyboard and great update from the K400(+)
I have a PC in my living room and need a wireless keyboard with a built-in touchpad to control it effectively. For 5+ years I've been using the Logitech K400(+) and, while it did it's job, I never found it that comfortable to use, with average build quality and irritating issues like its signal sometimes dropping out and its touchpad being very imprecise. I spent the better part of a year looking for a premium replacement to the K400 and found that most of the good options from other providers (such as the K83 from Corsair and Logitech's own K830) are either incredibly difficult to find for already high list prices (£100+) or have been discontinued completely. Eventually, however, I started searching through non-premium keyboards and was pleased to find this one from Arteck which had great reviews and decided to buy one. Long story short I'm incredibly pleased: the keyboard is very comfortable to use - unlike the K400 where each key is closer together than on a regular keyboard, the Arteck has standard key spacing and that, plus the very tactile, clicky keys makes the keyboard incredibly comfortable to type on. The touchpad, too, is much more responsive and smooth to use, with big left and right click buttons below it that also feel great to press. And there's a backlight with adjustable colours for each key, too - which makes the keyboard a bit easier to use in a darkened room than the K400 or other unlit keyboards would be. Another minor - but nice - touch - is the shape of the keys - letter and number keys are slightly concave and function/modifyer keys (like control/alt/arrow keys) are slightly convex - helping you find your way around the keyboard more easily while touch-typing. The build quality is great: very little flex to the housing and each key and button is completely fixed in its socket, unlike the k400 which I found to have both of these issues. The keyboard connects over standard bluetooth and I've been exclusively using it on a Windows 11 PC with a motherboard based bluetooth antenna - this has meant I've had a flawless connection since I started using it and no issues with dropping signal or lag - but I guess your milage could vary based on your setup. Overall, I'd highly recommend this keyboard: for me it was a fantastic upgrade from the K400 - which had just enough drawbacks to frustrate me using it everday - and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it as a keyboard for a media PC, tablet, nintendo switch, etc - provided their bluetooth connectivity is stable enough.

Update 6-21-25 I ordered another one of these keyboards as it stopped taking a charge, which I honestly believe is my own fault as I had plugged it into a 100w usb-c PD charger a few times and I think I may have unintentionally damaged it myself. Now these do have a 2 year warranty which it was still under and I'm sure they would have replaced it under that warranty, but my previous positive experience with them replacing it and the amount of daily use it has undergone and performed flawlessly for the pat 2 years, I had no issues purchasing it again, as like I said, I think I'm the one who broke it. I would say that these are built rock solid and very high quality. They keys feel good and the trackpad works flawlessly. This is the only brand I will buy because I know It is well built and will last. As I stated earlier, I have used this daily for almost 2 years without any issues at all. 100 percent recommended. 2-7-24 Update I have to upgrade Artech to 6 stars due to their customer service. I had a key come off from the lower mouse , which is no big deal as you can usually just pop them back on. In this case , one of the tabs on the rear of the key were broken and It would not reattach and stay on the keyboard. I reached out to the seller to see If I could just buy or get just a replacement key to reattach to the keyboard and they offered to send me a complete replacement, which they didn't have to do. They answered promptly and shipped one out within days. My original review still stands on the quality build and overall best BT keyboard I have bought. I just wanted to update that their customer service is just as good as their products and it was appreciated. 6 stars for Artech. I currently have a Fintie brand BT keyboard which is fine but wanted something wider to fit better on my lap as that is where I use it mostly. I needed a touchpad which seems to be kind of hard to find on BT keyboards. Decided to go with this one as there wasn't much else to choose from and the price point was fair. I was actually quite suprised on the build quality of the keyboard. It is solid and all the keys have a nice feel to them. Bluetooth setup was quick and easy and it fits in my lap perfectly. The touchpad works great also. I really wasn't expecting much from a keyboard at this price but it really blew away my expectations. It's a nice quality , solid built keyboard and I'm glad I went ahead and purchased it. I'd recommend it personally If your looking for a BT keyboard with touchpad.

This bluetooth keyboard will not pair with any computer. It is a total waste of money. Despite stating it has a 2 year warranty, Arteck just brazenly refuse to honour the warranty.

I've had this keyboard for 2 years now and really love the build quality, functionality, compatibility, customizability, backlighting, built-in trackpad/touchpad, usb-c charging and battery life. This is my go-to keyboard-trackpad for my home mac mini with 4K TV as display monitor. A year prior, I have been using this keyboard on a Windows PC without any issues. I never tried using this keyboard on my Google TV but per the Arteck user manual, it is also compatible with Android OS. It is versatile for office, home entertainment and casual gaming use due to the built-in multiple gesture trackpad. What I really love about this keyboard-trackpad is the 7 colors backlighting which is selectable/customizable and can cycle through- off/on and two levels of brightness. No more fumbling in the dark or turning on a virtual keyboard. With the backlight at level 1 brightness, I only have to recharge the keyboard-trackpad about once a month with 3 hours of daily use. I can even use it while tethered to the usb-c charging cable. What surprised me is the after-sales support that came with this under $50 keyboard-trackpad. There are actual people behind the support team at Arteck. I did not even have high hopes when I emailed them about my issue but got an answer within a day and resolved within 3 days.

Better than any of the Rii Keyboards. I give this HTPC keyboard with trackpad 2 stars, whereas I would give the Logitech K830 4 stars. There are no trackpads that can match the ones for Macs. For Windows, K830 is widely regarded as the best, but that was released in 2014, and technology has gone backwards. This Arteck HB305-4B has a terrible trackpad. The scroll functionality is almost so unusable that you're tempted to navigate with the arrow keys. The keyboard and backlights are good, but I need to press the ALT key extra hard to get it to work in Premiere. The volume controls are the main buttons on an HTCP keyboard, but they have been shoved in among the other buttons, forcing you to look at the keyboard each time you adjust it. The left and right mouse buttons feel the same as every other button so you will not naturally click them correctly each time and are they are way too low under the palm of your hand, so you need to stretch your fingers awkwardly to simply click and drag. As well, neither the the trackpad nor the mouse buttons awaken the keyboard backlit, which is ridiculous. The unit sits nicely on your lap or your chest if you are lying down. It looks good on a desk and doesn't take up much room, the keys feel nice and are spacious enough for me. Even though I give this 2 stars, I have not tried anything better yet, and I make HTPC keyboard review videos. The trackpad is really bad. I had to change the registry key in Windows 10 to get it to scroll in the proper direction. (run regedit, search: flipflopwheel, change value to 1 and restart your PC). I'm relieved that it scrolls in the correct direction now, but scrolling sometimes requires me to slide two fingers down the trackpad by more than a centimetre before the pointer moves. - Scrolling, Dragging and Pinching are awful - Volume Controls tucked away - Backlight good - Battery good - Keyboard good
