Reliable and comfortable
Good fit, super comfortable. Great for ruck marches. Good traction, very durable, and within regulation for military uniforms (army).

Extraordinary boot
I have the lightweight version of this boot already and I love it. That version has a very light outsole that wears quickly....but it's like wearing a tennis shoe. Sooo comfortable. This boot is just as comfortable but with a thicker and heavier duty outsole that should last longer. This boot is also has a much denser and thicker upper which is akin to a cold weather boot. It takes more time to break in because it's stiffer and thicker. But a great boot nonetheless. I'd like to see the lightweight version incorporate this heavier duty sole to make it last longer.

Good quality, not happy with the design
The boot is solid. There's no issues with comfort. The fit is a little snug, some may need .5 size larger or a wide for those who normally wear a regular. The cost is on par with other shoes of this quality. The boot is not a lightweight boot, it's cushioned but not light, it's a boot though so it's fine and probably average with others of the same build. The problem, the heal of the boot protudes far past the end of the boot and is very thick. This creates a dragging and sometimes causes tripping. This forces the wearer to adjust their stride. This makes the boot harder to use. The contrast here is that extra cushion does in fact make it softer and as described by the manufacturer you can run in them without beating your feet up. I've 20+ years of wearing military style boots. This is a quality boot. Its just doesn't quite work for me.

Great athletic boot
Imitatially, it can be difficult to get your foot into the boot opening but it becomes easier as you wear it. That's really the only knock on this boot. Other than that, it's comfortable and had enough room in the toe box if you need wide boots. I also love how light these are.

Perfect
Fantastic boots. Ive done a good 100 miles in them in 4 months and they are still stomping along. Done two 20 mile stretches and they didnt rub my feet the wrong way.

Wide size is not wide
The wide option is not very wide. Otherwise a good boot. But if you have wide feet these will squeeze your bones together at the ball of your foot

Excellent!
I was introduced to Belleville while I was in the military as they were unit issued cold weather gear and now they are my go-to brand. They have proven to be extremely tough, durable and comfortable for long days on your feet and every pair of Belleville's I've been issued or purchased myself have been excellent. If you're looking for a great pair of boots for hunting, work, or whatever, take a hard look at Belleville!

No breakin perfect fit
Probably the first boot I’ve ever put on and never had to break in. Very comfortable. Been a few weeks and still comfortable, no rubbing no blisters nothing. Fit perfect right out the box.
