Use Uworld instead of this book. For CK the content is average, instead UpToDate and Amboss are good enough peripheral sources

This is an amazing book for Step 2 prep, especially when it comes to learning how to eliminate wrong answer choices efficiently. The packaging was secure and arrived without any damage. The pages are slightly smooth, which makes them a bit tricky to work with in practice. Markers could smudge easily. only some pens stay well on the surface, so using a pencil is definitely the better option for annotations and use sticky notes. The algorithms included in the book are very helpful and are probably its strongest feature. They make decision-making and clinical reasoning much clearer and easier to follow during question practice. However, the disease explanations that follow the algorithms are not very detailed, so they should not be relied on as a primary source for understanding conditions in depth. Vaccination algorithms present! Footnotes are easy to follow. Overall, this book works best as a companion resource rather than a standalone guide. It pairs really well with UWorld and, when used together, can definitely lead to strong results in Step 2 preparation.

Really helpful when it comes to getting ready for an exam. It makes studying feel a lot less overwhelming by organizing everything in a clear, easy-to-follow way.
