Stride Rite Star Wars Captain Rex 2.0 Light-Up Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)

i like stride rite in general because the have wide width. i hoped the d be leather/leatherette with no fabric around the toe area. it does have a little fabric right in the middle but i pit some shoe goo on it and that fixed it for me.now the back is a little rough and it not easy to get childs foot in the shoe, even in wide width. so my 2.5 year old can't put them on himself, like the other pair he has. but once the foot is in it's nice and roomy. and he never got any blisters from them.these are the first light up shoes my son got and although he couldn't care less for star wars, he was thrilled to find out that his shoes light up.and i got them for a great price, which is a nice bonus.

My son really likes these shoes and they fit well. They also pass the ever critical "make my feet happy" test my 3-year old son has for shoes. His feet are average size for his age (not wide or narrow). The size 9 was right in line with other shoe brands we tested.My son is also a big fan of the flashing lights (name a kid who is not). He also has a pair of the Stride Rite "Star Wars Morphing Lighted Sneaker" and actually seems to prefer those shoes slightly over these (due to the ability to change the light color more than anything). These shoes were also a great value for the price.

These shoes seem great. We've only had them a few weeks but they are a big hit! The Velcro is super easy for our 4 year old to do himself. I think we ordered them a bit too large--the stride rite measurement had him in 8.5/9 but we got a 9.5. I figure with big wool socks they will be a perfect fit. I would recommend to anyone who loves Star Wars and light up shoes.

my 2-year-old has very very wide feet - i normally have to order every pair of shoes in extra-wide size. These ones do have an elastic band under the strap, but after he wore them for about a month i decided to just cut it out, and now they fit well and are easy to get on and off. seem very durable - he has been wearing them every day for about 2 months and they still light up every time and dont look like they will fall apart any time soon. At this price, would buy them again in a heartbeat!

....my son loves these shoes! They're sturdy and clunky but for a stocky boy totally perfect. It's hard to find a cool shoe in wide so this one was a great find! We've had the older Captain Rex shoe and loved it too...but the sole on this is chunkier...kind like a "moon shoe". Very cool and looks great with his clothes.. Most importantly he doesn't take them off when he gets home which tells me they must be comfortable. Highly recommend.

These fit a little big but I was glad as I couldn't find any star wars tennis shoes in anything bigger than a 3 and my son is between a 3 and 4. These are not tight and he will be able to wear them at least until summer so it was a good fit. They have a great light up warrior which keeps my little guy busy in church tapping his feet! Easy and quick to take on and off. They are a hit.

I had been buying cheap shoes, and my rough-and-tumble 3 year old son tears them up right away. Wanted stride rite, but didn't want to pay $40+ for shoes when his size could jump tomorrow. Found these - did not know who captain rex was, but they lit up. We looked up the star wars character (he is a military captain! Thrilling!:) and my boy is so proud. Anyway, they are good, solid shoes.

My son loves these light up shoes with a stylized Star Wars look. They are holding up just fine under his abuse, clean up easily, and I like that they don't scream "Star Wars shoe!" although fans of the movies will recognize them immediately.
