can you walk in these, at least to the bathroom and back, without fear of popping a leak (in the gel pack)?

The gel pack shouldn't pop. The issue is keeping the pack on securely enough to be safe.

Is it one wrap? For both legs are they the same or left/right? Do you need to buy two?

It is one wrap which fits either left or right. I bought two so I could ice both feet at the same time.

How long does this stay cold for?

Not long enough. It’s a great design, but the gel doesn’t freeze very fast, at all. It thaws quickly. Then another 2 hours to freeze. At least.
