KittyGoHere Senior Cat Litter Box, Large Litter Pan, Beach Sand

I bought this box (the largest size) for my small dog (7 pounds) a couple weeks ago. The first few days were difficult. I started keeping a close eye on him and, throughout the day, I would randomly lure him in with a treat just to get him used to going in and out of it. I'd praise/treat like crazy everytime he used it, and slowly he started to become more comfortable with it. Now he's a pro! I bought the Tofu flushable litter and cleaning it is so hassle free. We tried a normal litter box before this one and he hated it. The sides were too high, the box was too small, and the texture was very slippery, so he was sliding around awkwardly in it. This litter box has a more textured plastic and lower sides, making it much easier for him to use, and it's plenty big enough for him to spin around in circles before he finally squats. Haha! I also like the colors it comes in. The only con about this box is how pricey it is. Overall, awesome product! Pros: -large -textured plastic -low sides -appealing colors Cons: -expensive I've seen a person or two mention that they had a hard time getting the clumps unstuck form the bottom of the box. I just turn the pooper scooper over and scrape the clump forward and it releases easily.

This cat litter box is perfect for my cat that was having difficulty in getting into a normal box.

I love my cat but she is getting pretty old and was starting to go to the bathroom outside her litterbox. When I realized it was because her stuff old joints made the jump up into her old box a pain, I bit the bullet and bought this. We haven’t had ONE issue since! I think she is so happy with how roomy it is and the fact that she can just walk right in without any extra effort. It’s really solid. Don’t get me wrong, I still think it’s overpriced. Especially since you pretty much have to pair it with a huge litter mat and probably some of those adhesive clear plastic splash guards to keep the litter from getting all over your floor (unless your cat is neat as a pin; mine’s not bad but those are a necessity for me with even her reasonable covering efforts to keep her from kicking all the litter out). Despite the maybe unreasonably high price tag for a single piece of plastic, I would buy it again because of how much of a difference it seems to have made for my senior cat.

I have purchased at least 4 of the litter boxes with low height entry for my kitties. This is my go-to product especially as my little ones age and experience challenges. The extremely low entry allows for larger and smaller kitties to maintain their dignity and use a box, even as arthritis makes it harder for them to move around. Normal size boxes have entries that are just too high for the aging to get a step over, resulting in messes the kitties don’t want to be causing. Both my aged main coon, Ozzy and a little lynx point tabby Sugar, experienced these challenges but used this product where no others were a good fit. The wide width and length of the boxes allow for the larger kitties to move freely and have room to scrape and turn. The low height can be a challenge when they can’t squat or angle appropriately, like my tuxedo kitties Romeo and Buttercup. But a little wee wee pad on the wall beside the box solves that problem, while allowing the kitties with mobility issues to be excellent at Catting and scratch up a storm after doing their business. The boxes clean easily, and retain their coating through multiple washes. I only replace them after a rainbow bridge passing, or when a kitty starts showing signs of litter box challenges and it’s time to get them their very own Kitty Go Here. As the rest of my kitty group continues to age, I feel better knowing I have the right product to fit their changing needs. My kitties can age gracefully having your product to help them at this point in their journey

I had a custom cabinet built in my laundry with a slide out drawer to fit this exact cat litter pan. Hands down love it for those lazy days i forget to scoop, it doesn't require a jackhammer, pick and an axe to scoop out like some other plastic boxes I've had since one of the cats likes to do his #1 only in one corner. I've had so many diff types of litter pans and litter boxes through the years, hands down this is the best for my cats. It's nice and big, too, but not heavy when I dump everything as mostly all just slides right out. Very easy to clean. My senior cat, who i bought this for, eventually hit the rainbow road but it really helped his last year. The new kitten and Mr. Handsome, kitty #2, use it well so it is not just for senior kitties. It does tend to lose litter that piles up outside the box at that lowered part in the center designed for their entry/exit. Maybe a future design could have an extended lip there that juts out more to capture the messy cats that shovel around a lot of litter doing their bidness.

My senior cats adapted to this new litter box very quickly. It is easy to clean and is very easy for them to enter and exit this litter box because of the low side.

Our 13-yrs old cat changed his bathroom behavior suddenly, which means pooping and then peeing outside of litter box nearly one month ago. After trying changing litter more frequently and exploring different litter brands, we bought this litter box designed for senior cat, the large one, since I read that the box should be 1.5 times the cat length. Before receiving this box, my cat already found a second location for dump...which is in my shoe shelf. It really takes time to clean the smell (not be able to clear it) and frustrates everyone. After receiving the new litter box for senior cat, he did not touch the old litter box, and went with this new one in his second dump spot for a whole day now. So I think it must be something wrong with the old litter box that compelled my cat to act unbeholden. It also means that this new litter box for senior cat works well. I do not regret for paying 40 dollars or so and get this new one, the quality worths. And it looks and feels really sturdy for the material. The ONLY problem now that we encountered with this litter box is that the large one is really large, and make it a little bit hard to put litter box liners in. I'm using some lines bought randomly from supermarket and Jonny Cat Heavy Duty Jumbo Liners. You have to stretch the liners hard in order to cover the four corners of the box. Otherwise, your cat will just skip the liner and pee inside the box directly, which means that you have to clean it after throwing out the liners. Overall, this is a product that I recommend to everyone who has senior animals at home.

Ordered by mistake; was after the 'bunny go here' and returned it as it is too large. In any case, the low side is about the same height as a regular cat litter box which I think defeats the purpose. The return and refund however was quick an easy.

It honestly took me a while to find a good low-effort, accessible litter box like this—so thank you for making something that truly meets the needs of senior pets. This one is thoughtfully designed with easy access, which means she no longer struggles or hesitates. The entry is low enough for her to step into without pain, yet it still does a great job containing litter. It’s also spacious, giving her plenty of room to move around comfortably. Cleaning is straightforward, and the material feels durable and easy to maintain. Most importantly, my cat started using it right away with no stress or accidents, which says everything. If you have a senior or arthritic cat, this litter box is absolutely worth it. It’s improved her quality of life—and given me peace of mind.

Habe wirklich versucht eine Lösung zu finden, die nicht ganz so teuer ist. So eine einfache Plastikwanne für soviel Geld extra aus den USA liefern lassen? Jetzt ist das Katzenklo da und mein alter, grosser Perserkater hat es sofort erleichtert angenommen. Endlich ein wirklich geräumiges Klo mit niedrigem Einstieg. Leicht zugänglich für den Arthrosegeplagten. So groß, dass auch wirklich der ganze Kater Platz hat und sich auch ungelenk wie er ist darin drehen kann - ohne dass am Ende doch der Hintern wieder draußen hängt. Der Kunststoff ist nicht zu glatt, dadurch kein Wegrutschen beim Hinhocken. Wie gesagt. Allein die sofortige Begeisterung des Katers macht die Anschaffung ihren Preis wert. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass auch mein Stresspegel gehörig sinkt, sobald nix mehr daneben geht. Der Versand war absolut unkompliziert und schnell. In einer Woche war das gute Stück bei uns. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder bestellen. Und das nächste Mal ohne zu zögern!
